| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:4] | Wama ta/teehim min ayatin min ayatirabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena
|  وما تأتيهم من آية من آيات ربهم إلا كانوا عنها معرضين
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| تأتيهم - comes to them| من - [of]| آية - any sign| من - from| آيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| إلا - but| كانوا - they are| عنها - from it| معرضين - turning away.| |

| ከጌታቸውም አንቀጾች አንዲትም አንቀጽ አትመጣቸውም ከርሷ የሚሸሹ ቢኾኑ እንጅ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما تأتيهم } أي أهل مكة { من } زائدة { آية من آيات ربهم } من القرآن { إلا كانوا عنها معرضين } . |
| Ur ten id ippas ussekni seg issekniyen n Mass nnsen, mebla ma ugin t. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের কাছে তাদের প্রতিপালকের নিদর্শনাবলী থেকে কোন নিদর্শন আসেনি; যার প্রতি তারা বিমুখ হয় না। |
| Literal | And no verse/evidence from their Lord's verses/evidences comes to them except they were from it objecting/opposing. |
| Yusuf Ali | But never did a single one of the signs of their Lord reach them, but they turned away therefrom. |
| Pickthal | Never came there unto them a revelation of the revelations of Allah but they did turn away from it. |
| Arberry | Not a sign of their Lord comes to them, but they turn away from it. |
| Shakir | And there does not come to them any communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it |
| Sarwar | (The unbelievers) have always turned away from the revelations and the evidence (of the Truth) that has been sent to them from time to time. |
