| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:17] | Wa-in yamsaska Allahu bidurrinfala kashifa lahu illa huwa wa-in yamsaskabikhayrin fahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun
|  وإن يمسسك الله بضر فلا كاشف له إلا هو وإن يمسسك بخير فهو على كل شيء قدير
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| يمسسك - touches you| الله - Allah| بضر - with affliction| فلا - then no| كاشف - remover| له - of it| إلا - except| هو - Him.| وإن - And if| يمسسك - He touches you| بخير - with good,| فهو - then He| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| |

| አላህም በጉዳት ቢነካህ ለእርሱ (ለጉዳቱ) ከእርሱ በቀር ሌላ አስወጋጅ የለም፡፡ በበጎም ነገር ቢነካህ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن يمسسك الله بضر } بلاء كمرض وفقر { فلا كاشف } رافع { له إلا هو وإن يمسسك بخير } كصحة وغنىّ { فهو على كل شىء قدير } ومنه مسُّك به ولا يقدر على ردِّه عنك غيره . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যদি আল্লাহ তোমাকে কোন কষ্ট দেন, তবে তিনি ব্যতীত তা অপসারণকারী কেউ নেই। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমার মঙ্গল করেন, তবে তিনি সবকিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান। |
| Literal | And if God touches you with harm, so (there is)no remover/uncoverer for it except He, and if He touches you with goodness , so He is on every thing capable. |
| Yusuf Ali | "If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things. |
