| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[54:28] | Wanabbi/hum anna almaa qismatunbaynahum kullu shirbin muhtadarun
|  ونبئهم أن الماء قسمة بينهم كل شرب محتضر
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ |
| Words | |ونبئهم - And inform them| أن - that| الماء - the water| قسمة - (is) to be shared| بينهم - between them,| كل - each| شرب - drink| محتضر - attended.| |

| ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው፡፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ (ተረኞቹ) የሚጣዱት ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ونبئهم أن الماء قسمة } مقسوم { بينهم } وبين الناقة يوم لهم ويوم لها { كلُّ شرب } نصيب من الماء { محتضر } يحضره القوم يومهم والناقة يومها فتمادوا على ذلك ثم ملوه فهموا بقتل الناقة . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং তাদেরকে জানিয়ে দাও যে, তাদের মধ্যে পানির পালা নির্ধারিত হয়েছে এবং পালাক্রমে উপস্থিত হতে হবে। |
| Literal | And inform them that (E) the water (is) division/apportionment between them, each/every share of water/drink (is) present/attending. |
| Yusuf Ali | And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns). |
