بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathat-humualssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona فعتوا عن أمر ربهم فأخذتهم الصاعقة وهم ينظرون
فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
 Words|فعتوا - But they rebelled| عن - against| أمر - (the) Command| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| فأخذتهم - so seized them| الصاعقة - the thunderbolt| وهم - while they| ينظرون - were looking.|

ከጌታቸው ትዕዛዝም ኮሩ፡፡ እነርሱም እያዩ ጩኸት ያዘቻቸው፡፡
آل الجلالين{ فعتوْا } تكبروا { عن أمر ربهم } أي عن امتثاله { فأخذتهم الصاعقة } بعد مضي الثلاثة أيام أي الصيحة المهلكة { وهم ينظرون } أي بالنهار .

মুহিউদ্দীন খানঅতঃপর তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার আদেশ অমান্য করল এবং তাদের প্রতি বজ্রঘাত হল এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা তা দেখেছিল।
LiteralSo they become arrogant/disobedient from their Lord's order/command, so the death/destructive torture punished/took them, and (while) they are looking/watching .
Yusuf AliBut they insolently defied the Command of their Lord: So the stunning noise (of an earthquake) seized them, even while they were looking on.
PickthalBut they rebelled against their Lord's decree, and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed;
Arberry Then they turned in disdain from the commandment of their Lord, and the thunderbolt took them and they themselves beholding

SarwarThey transgressed against the command of their Lord. So a blast of sound struck them and they were unable to do anything but stare.

Malikbut they disobeyed the commandment of their Lord; consequently they were overtaken by the thunderbolt even while they were looking on.[44]
Maulana Ali**But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the punishment overtook them, while they saw.
Free MindsBut they rebelled against the command of their Lord. So the lightning struck them while they were looking.
Qaribullah But in their pride they turn away from the commandment of their Lord and the thunderbolt struck them whilst they were looking;

Hilali/Khan**But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Saiqah overtook them while they were looking.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**But they defied their Lord's Commandment. Whereupon the thunder seized them while they looked on.
Mutta he kapinoivat Herransa käskyä vastaan, ja niin iski heihin heidän nähtensä ukkonen.
Na pimaratabatan iran so sogoan o Kadnan iran, na miyadansal siran o lalis, a siran na kasasandngan iran.

Abul Ala Maududiمگر اس تنبیہ پر بھی انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرتابی کی آخر کار ان کے دیکھتے دیکھتے ایک اچانک ٹوٹ پڑنے والے عذاب نے اُن کو آ لیا
Ahmed Aliپھر انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرتابی کی تو ان کو بجلی نے آ پکڑا اوروہ دیکھ رہے تھے
