| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[47:27] | Fakayfa itha tawaffat-humu almala-ikatuyadriboona wujoohahum waadbarahum
|  فكيف إذا توفتهم الملائكة يضربون وجوههم وأدبارهم
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتْهُمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ |
| Words | |فكيف - Then how,| إذا - when| توفتهم - take them in death| الملائكة - the Angels,| يضربون - striking| وجوههم - their faces| وأدبارهم - and their backs?| |

| መላእክትም ፊቶቻቸውንና ጀርባዎቻቸውን የሚመቱ ሲኾኑ በገደሉዋቸው ጊዜ (ኹኔታቸው) እንዴት ይኾናል? |
| آل الجلالين | { فكيف } حالهم { إذا توفتهم الملائكة يضربون } حال من الملائكة { وجوههم وأدبارهم } ظهورهم بمقامع من حديد . |
| Amek ihi, ma ddment lmalayek leôwaê nnsen, la ten kkatent ar udmawen nnsen, iârar nnsen? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | ফেরেশতা যখন তাদের মুখমন্ডল ও পৃষ্ঠদেশে আঘাত করতে করতে প্রাণ হরণ করবে, তখন তাদের অবস্থা কেমন হবে? |
| Literal | So how (is it) if the angels made them die, they strike/hit their faces and their backs/ends? |
| Yusuf Ali | But how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs? |
| Pickthal | Then how (will it be with them) when the angels gather them, smiting their faces and their backs! |
