[42:20] | Man kana yureedu hartha al-akhiratinazid lahu fee harthihi waman kana yureedu harthaalddunya nu/tihi minha wama lahu feeal-akhirati min naseebin
|  من كان يريد حرث الآخرة نزد له في حرثه ومن كان يريد حرث الدنيا نؤته منها وما له في الآخرة من نصيب
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ |

| (በሥራው) የኋለኛይቱን ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ለእርሱ በአዝመራው ላይ እንጨምርለታለን፡፡ የቅርቢቱንም ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ከእርሷ (የተወሰነለትን ብቻ) እንሰጠዋለን፡፡ ለእርሱም በኋለኛይቱ ዓለም ምንም ፋንታ የለውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { من كان يريد } بعمله { حرث الآخرة } أي كسبها وهو الثواب { نزد له في حرثه } بالتضعيف فيه الحسنة إلى العشرة وأكثر { ومن كان يريد حرث الدنيا نؤته منها } بلا تضعيف ما قسم له { وما له في الآخرة من نصيب } . |
| Win ib$an tayerza n laxeôt, ad as Nernu di tyerza ines. Win ib$an tayerza n ddunit, ad as Nefk segs. Ur as illi umur di laxeôt. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে কেউ পরকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তার জন্যে সেই ফসল বাড়িয়ে দেই। আর যে ইহকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তাকে তার কিছু দিয়ে দেই এবং পরকালে তার কোন অংশ থাকবে না। |
| Literal | Who was wanting/intending the end's (other life's) cultivation/plantation (enjoyment), We increase for him his cultivation/plantation (enjoyment), and who was wanting/intending the present world's cultivation/plantation (enjoyment), We give/bring him from it, and (there is) no share/ luck/fortune for him in the end (other life). |
