| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:48] | Inna Allaha la yaghfiru anyushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika limanyashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqadi iftaraithman AAatheeman
|  إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء ومن يشرك بالله فقد افترى إثما عظيما
إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَى إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا |
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يغفر - forgive| أن - that| يشرك - partners be associated| به - with Him,| ويغفر - but He forgives| ما - from| دون - other than| ذلك - that| لمن - for whom| يشاء - He wills.| ومن - And whoever| يشرك - associates partners| بالله - with Allah,| فقد - then surely| افترى - he has fabricated| إثما - a sin -| عظيما - tremendous.| |

| አላህ በእርሱ ማጋራትን በፍጹም አይምርም፡፡ ከዚህ ሌላ ያለውንም (ኀጢአት) ለሚሻው ሰው ይምራል፡፡ በአላህም የሚያጋራ ሰው ታላቅን ኀጢአት በእርግጥ ቀጠፈ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن الله لا يغفر أن يُشرك } أي الإشراك { به ويغفر ما دون } سوى { ذلك } من الذنوب { لمن يشاء } المغفرة له بأن يدخله الجنة بلا عذاب ومن شاء عذّبه من المؤمنين بذنوبه ثم يدخله الجنة { ومن يشرك بالله فقد افترى إثما } ذنبا { عظيما } كبيرا . |
| Öebbi, s tidep, ur Ipsemmiê mara S carken. Ipsemmiê ayen nniven, i win i S ihwan. Win icurken i Öebbi, ni$ ibbwi abekkav abarar. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাকে ক্ষমা করেন না, যে লোক তাঁর সাথে শরীক করে। তিনি ক্ষমা করেন এর নিম্ন পর্যায়ের পাপ, যার জন্য তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন। আর যে লোক অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করল আল্লাহর সাথে, সে যেন অপবাদ আরোপ করল। |
| Literal | That God does not forgive that to be shared with Him, and He forgives what (is) other than that, to who He wills/wants, and who shares with God, so he fabricated a great sin/crime. |

Allah will forgive any transgression but SHIRK. Included in this category are those who worship their own desire (45:23), those who indulge in human worship and in sectarianism (30:31), (42:21), and those who follow man-made books in lieu of the Book of Allah (6:122), (6:137), and those who claim or believe in Revelation after the Qur'an, in any form, including claims of attaining Divine knowledge through mystical experience (6:62), (7:173), (7:191). And those who uphold Trinity (4:171), (5:72-73.) And those who claim that God has a son, and those who follow their religious leaders (9:31) Such people fall from the high station of humanity. Worshiping any entity other than Allah, sinks the human "Self" down to subhuman levels (22:31). But most of those who claim belief (and call themselves Muslims), indulge in SHIRK (12:106). |
