| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:27] | WaAllahu yureedu an yatoobaAAalaykum wayureedu allatheena yattabiAAoona alshshahawatian tameeloo maylan AAatheeman
|  والله يريد أن يتوب عليكم ويريد الذين يتبعون الشهوات أن تميلوا ميلا عظيما
وَاللّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَن تَمِيلُواْ مَيْلاً عَظِيمًا |
| Words | |والله - And Allah| يريد - wishes| أن - to| يتوب - accept repentance| عليكم - from you,| ويريد - but wish| الذين - those who| يتبعون - follow| الشهوات - the passions| أن - that| تميلوا - you deviate -| ميلا - (into) a deviation| عظيما - great.| |

| አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል፡፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት (ከውነት) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { والله يريد أن يتوب عليكم } كرره ليبنى عليه { ويريد الذين يتبعون الشهوات } اليهود والنصارى أو المجوس أو الزناة { أن تميلوا ميلا عظيما } تعدلوا عن الحق بارتكاب ما حُرم عليكم فتكونوا مثلهم . |
| Ib$a Öebbi ad awen Issuref. B$an wid iteddun d lemcihwat, a pmalem lmil abarar. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল হতে চান, এবং যারা কামনা-বাসনার অনুসারী, তারা চায় যে, তোমরা পথ থেকে অনেক দূরে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়। |
| Literal | And God wants that He forgives on you, and those who follow the lusts/desires want that you bend/sway (a) great bending/swaying. |
| Yusuf Ali | Allah doth wish to Turn to you, but the wish of those who follow their lusts is that ye should turn away (from Him),- far, far away. |
| Pickthal | And Allah would turn to you in mercy; but those who follow vain desires would have you go tremendously astray. |
| Arberry | and God desires to turn towards you, but those who follow their lusts desire you to swerve away mightily. |
