| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:16] | Waallathani ya/tiyanihaminkum faathoohuma fa-in taba waaslahafaaAAridoo AAanhuma inna Allaha kanatawwaban raheeman
|  واللذان يأتيانها منكم فآذوهما فإن تابا وأصلحا فأعرضوا عنهما إن الله كان توابا رحيما
وَاللَّذَانَ يَأْتِيَانِهَا مِنكُمْ فَآذُوهُمَا فَإِن تَابَا وَأَصْلَحَا فَأَعْرِضُواْ عَنْهُمَا إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا |
| Words | |واللذان - And the two who| يأتيانها - commit it| منكم - among you,| فآذوهما - then punish both of them.| فإن - But if| تابا - they repent| وأصلحا - and correct themselves,| فأعرضوا - then turn away| عنهما - from both of them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| توابا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most-Merciful.| |

| እነዚያንም ከእናንተ ውስጥ (ዝሙትን) የሚሠሩዋትን አሰቃዩዋቸው፡፡ ቢጸጸቱና ሥራቸውንም ቢያሳምሩ ከእነርሱ ተገቱ (አታሰቃዩዋቸው)፡፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وَاًلَّلذّانِ } بتخفيف النون وتشديدها { يأتيانها } أي الفاحشة الزنا أو اللواط { منكم } أي الرجال { فآذوهما } بالسب والضرب بالنعال { فإن تابا } منها { وأصلحا } العمل { فأعرضوا عنهما } ولا تؤذوهما { إن الله كان توَّابا } على من تاب { رحيما } به وهذا منسوخ بالحد إن أريد بها الزنا وكذا إن أريد بها اللواط عن الشافعي لكن المفعول به لا يرجم عنده وإن كان محصنا بل يجلد ويغرب وإرادةُ اللواط أظهر بدليل تثنية الضمير والأول أراد الزاني والزانية ويرده تبيينهما بمن المتصلة بضمير الرجال واشتراكهما في الأذى والتوبة والإعراض وهو مخصوص بالرجال لما تقدم في النساء من الحبس . |
| Wid segwen it ixedmen, âaqbet pen. Ma nedmen, u xedmen ayen ilhan, anfet asen. Öebbi, s tidep, Izga Issuruf, Ipêunu. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যে দু’জন সেই কুকর্মে লিপ্ত হয়, তাদেরকে শাস্তি প্রদান কর। অতঃপর যদি উভয়ে তওবা করে এবং নিজেদের সংশোধন করে, তবে তাদের থেকে হাত গুটিয়ে নাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তওবা কবুলকারী, দয়ালু। |
| Literal | And those who (B/M), they both come/do/commit it from you, so harm them (B), so if they (B) repented, and they (B) corrected, so turn away from them, that God was/is forgiving, merciful. |
| Yusuf Ali | If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-returning, Most Merciful. |
