| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:125] | Waman ahsanu deenan mimman aslamawajhahu lillahi wahuwa muhsinun waittabaAAamillata ibraheema haneefan waittakhathaAllahu ibraheema khaleelan
|  ومن أحسن دينا ممن أسلم وجهه لله وهو محسن واتبع ملة إبراهيم حنيفا واتخذ الله إبراهيم خليلا
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ واتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَاتَّخَذَ اللّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلاً |
| Words | |ومن - And who| أحسن - (is) better| دينا - (in) religion| ممن - than (one) who| أسلم - submits| وجهه - his face| لله - to Allah| وهو - and he| محسن - (is) a good-doer| واتبع - and follows| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| حنيفا - (the) upright?| واتخذ - And was taken| الله - (by) Allah| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| خليلا - (as) a friend.| |

| እርሱ መልካም ሠሪ ኾኖ ፊቱን ለአላህ ከሰጠና የኢብራሂምንም መንገድ ቀጥተኛ ሲኾን ከተከተለ ሰው ይበልጥ ሃይማኖቱ ያማረ ማን ነው አላህም ኢብራሂምን ፍጹም ወዳጅ አድርጐ ያዘው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن } أي لا أحد { أحسن دينا ممن أسلم وجهه } أي انقاد وأخلص عمله { لله وهو محسن } موحد { واتبع ملة إبراهيم } الموافقة لملة الإسلام { حنيفا } حال أي مائلا عن الأديان كلها إلى الدين القيم { واتخذ الله إبراهيم خليلا } صفيا خالص المحبة له . |
| Anwa iûegmen ddin is sennig win iunzen i Öebbi, u neppa d laâûem, u idda d ddin n Ibôahim, i imalen ar tidep? Öebbi Irra Ibôahim d aêbib. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সামনে মস্তক অবনত করে সৎকাজে নিয়োজিত থাকে এবং ইব্রাহীমের ধর্ম অনুসরণ করে, যিনি একনিষ্ঠ ছিলেন, তার চাইতে উত্তম ধর্ম কার? আল্লাহ ইব্রাহীমকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেছেন। |
| Literal | And who (is in) a better religion from (than) who submitted/surrendered his face to God, and he is (a) good doer, and he followed Abraham's religion/faith, Unifier of God ? And God took Abraham (as) a faithful/close friend. |
| Yusuf Ali | Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend. |
