| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[39:30] | Innaka mayyitun wa-innahum mayyitoona
|  إنك ميت وإنهم ميتون
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ |
| Words | |إنك - Indeed, you| ميت - will die| وإنهم - and indeed, they| ميتون - (will also) die.| |

| አንተ ሟች ነህ፤ እነርሱም ሟቾች ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إنك } خطاب للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { ميت وإنهم ميتون } ستموت ويموتون فلا شماتة بالموت، نزلت لما استبطؤوا موته صلى الله عليه وسلم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিশ্চয় তোমারও মৃত্যু হবে এবং তাদেরও মৃত্যু হবে। |
| Literal | You truly are dying, and that they truly are dying. |
| Yusuf Ali | Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day). |
| Pickthal | Lo! thou wilt die, and lo! they will die; |
