| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[39:17] | Waallatheena ijtanaboo alttaghootaan yaAAbudooha waanaboo ila Allahilahumu albushra fabashshir AAibadi
|  والذين اجتنبوا الطاغوت أن يعبدوها وأنابوا إلى الله لهم البشرى فبشر عباد
وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ |
| Words | |والذين - And those who| اجتنبوا - avoid| الطاغوت - the false gods| أن - lest| يعبدوها - they worship them| وأنابوا - and turn| إلى - to| الله - Allah,| لهم - for them| البشرى - (are) glad tidings.| فبشر - So give glad tidings| عباد - (to) My slaves| |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা শয়তানী শক্তির পূজা-অর্চনা থেকে দূরে থাকে এবং আল্লাহ অভিমুখী হয়, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুসংবাদ। অতএব, সুসংবাদ দিন আমার বান্দাদেরকে। |
| Literal | And those who avoided/distanced the idols/every thing worshipped other than God that (E) they worship it, and they repented/obeyed to God, for them (is) the good news, so announce good news (to) My worshippers/slaves . |
