| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[38:15] | Wama yanthuru haola-iilla sayhatan wahidatan ma lahamin fawaqin
|  وما ينظر هؤلاء إلا صيحة واحدة ما لها من فواق
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ |
| Words | |وما - And not| ينظر - await| هؤلاء - these| إلا - but| صيحة - a shout| واحدة - one;| ما - not| لها - for it| من - any| فواق - delay.| |

| እነዚህም ለእርሷ መመለስ የሌላትን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጅ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما ينظر } ينتظر { هؤلاء } أي كفار مكة { إلا صيحة واحدة } هي نفخة القيامة تحل بهم العذاب { ما لها من فواق } بفتح الفاء وضمها: رجوع . |
| Wigi, ad gganin kan ti$ôi yiwet, ur as ippili wallus. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | কেবল একটি মহানাদের অপেক্ষা করছে, যাতে দম ফেলার অবকাশ থাকবে না। |
| Literal | And those do not look/see/watch except (for) one loud strong cry/torture raid, (there is) nothing from (a) recovery/awakening for it. |
| Yusuf Ali | These (today) only wait for a single mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay. |
| Pickthal | These wait for but one Shout, there will be no second thereto. |
| Arberry | These are only awaiting for a single Cry, to which there is no delay. |
