[38:13] | Wathamoodu waqawmu lootin waas-habual-aykati ola-ika al-ahzabu
|  وثمود وقوم لوط وأصحاب الأيكة أولئك الأحزاب
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ أُوْلَئِكَ الْأَحْزَابُ |
| Words | |وثمود - And Thamud| وقوم - and (the) people| لوط - (of) Lut| وأصحاب - and (the) companions| الأيكة - (of) the wood.| أولئك - Those| الأحزاب - (were) the companies.| |

| ሰሙድም፣ የሉጥ ሰዎችም፣ የአይከት ሰዎችም (አስተባበሉ)፡፡ እነዚህ አሕዛቦቹ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وثمود وقوم لوط وأصحاب الأيكة } أي الغيضة، وهم قوم شعيب عليه السلام { أولئك الأحزاب } . |
| Tamud, agdud n Luî, At Laika; d widak ay d ikabaren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সামুদ, লূতের সম্প্রদায় ও আইকার লোকেরা। এরাই ছিল বহু বাহিনী। |
| Literal | And Thamud and Lot's nation, and owners/company (of) the thicket/dense tangled trees, those are the groups/parties. |
| Yusuf Ali | And Thamud, and the people of Lut, and the Companions of the Wood; - such were the Confederates. |
