| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[37:98] | Faaradoo bihi kaydan fajaAAalnahumual-asfaleena
|  فأرادوا به كيدا فجعلناهم الأسفلين
فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ |
| Words | |فأرادوا - And they intended| به - for him| كيدا - a plot,| فجعلناهم - but We made them| الأسفلين - the lowest.| |

| በእርሱም ተንኮልን አሰቡ፡፡ ዝቅተኞችም አደረግናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | {فأرادوا به كيدا } بإلقائه في النار لتهلكه { فجعلناهم الأسفلين } المقهورين فخرج من النار سالما . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারপর তারা তার বিরুদ্ধে মহা ষড়যন্ত্র আঁটতে চাইল, কিন্তু আমি তাদেরকেই পরাভূত করে দিলাম। |
| Literal | So they intended/wanted a conspiracy/harm with (for) him, so We made/put them the lowest/meanest. |
| Yusuf Ali | (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! |
