1 [37:102] | Falamma balagha maAAahu alssaAAyaqala ya bunayya innee ara fee almanamiannee athbahuka faonthur mathatara qala ya abati ifAAal ma tu/marusatajidunee in shaa Allahu mina alssabireena
| فلما بلغ معه السعي قال يا بني إني أرى في المنام أني أذبحك فانظر ماذا ترى قال يا أبت افعل ما تؤمر ستجدني إن شاء الله من الصابرين فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ |
Words | |فلما - Then when| بلغ - he reached| معه - the (age of) working with him| السعي - the (age of) working with him| قال - he said,| يا - O| بني - "O my son!| إني - Indeed, I| أرى - have seen| في - in| المنام - the dream| أني - that I am| أذبحك - sacrificing you,| فانظر - so look| ماذا - what| ترى - you see."| قال - He said,| يا - O| أبت - Do| افعل - what| ما - you are commanded.| تؤمر - You will find me,| ستجدني - if| إن - Allah wills,| شاء - Allah wills,| الله - of| من - the patient ones."| |

| ከእርሱ ጋርም ለሥራ በደረሰ ጊዜ «ልጄ ሆይ! እኔ በሕልሜ እኔ የማርድህ ሆኜ አያለሁ፡፡ ተመልከትም፤ ምን ታያለህ?» አለው፡፡ «አባቴ ሆይ! የታዘዝከውን ሥራ፡፡ አላህ ቢሻ ከታጋሾቹ ሆኜ ታገኘኛለህ» አለ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فلما بلغ معه السعي } أي أن يسعى معه ويعينه قيل بلغ سبع سنين وقيل ثلاث عشرة سنة { قال يا بنيَّ إني أرى } أي رأيت { في المنام أني أذبحك } ورؤيا الأنبياء حق وأفعالهم بأمر الله تعالى { فانظر ماذا ترى } من الرأي شاوره ليأنس بالذبح وينقاد للأمر به { قال يا أبت } التاء عوض عن ياء الإضافة { افعل ما تؤمر } به { ستجدني إن شاء الله من الصابرين } على ذلك . |
| Mi ibda iteddu yides, inna: "a mmi! Nek wala$, di targit, a k zlu$. Muqel d acu twalav"? Inna: "a baba! Exdem ayen ik ippumôen; ad iyi tafev, ma Irad Öebbi, seg iûebôiyen". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর সে যখন পিতার সাথে চলাফেরা করার বয়সে উপনীত হল, তখন ইব্রাহীম তাকে বললঃ বৎস! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখিযে, তোমাকে যবেহ করছি; এখন তোমার অভিমত কি দেখ। সে বললঃ পিতাঃ! আপনাকে যা আদেশ করা হয়েছে, তাই করুন। আল্লাহ চাহে তো আপনি আমাকে সবরকারী পাবেন। |
Literal | So when he reached the struggle/endeavor with him, he said you my son: "That I, I see/understand in the sleep/dream that I, I slaughter you/cut your throat, so look/wonder about/consider what you see/understand." He said: "You my father, make/do what you are being ordered/commanded, so you will find me, if God wills/wants from the patient." |
Yusuf Ali | Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" |
Pickthal | And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. |

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | جب وہ ان کے ساتھ دوڑنے (کی عمر) کو پہنچا تو ابراہیم نے کہا کہ بیٹا میں خواب میں دیکھتا ہوں کہ (گویا) تم کو ذبح کر رہا ہوں تو تم سوچو کہ تمہارا کیا خیال ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ابا جو آپ کو حکم ہوا ہے وہی کیجیئے خدا نے چاہا تو آپ مجھے صابروں میں پایئے گا |

Abul Ala Maududi | وہ لڑکا جب اس کے ساتھ دوڑ دھوپ کرنے کی عمر کو پہنچ گیا تو (ایک روز) ابراہیمؑ نے اس سے کہا، "بیٹا، میں خواب میں دیکھتا ہوں کہ میں تجھے ذبح کر رہا ہوں، اب تو بتا، تیرا کیا خیال ہے؟" اُس نے کہا، "ابا جان، جو کچھ آپ کو حکم دیا جا رہا ہے اسے کر ڈالیے، آپ انشاءاللہ مجھے صابروں میں سے پائیں گے" |
Ahmed Ali | پھر جب وہ اس کے ہمراہ چلنے پھرنے لگا کہا اے بیٹے! بے شک میں خواب میں دیکھتا ہوں کہ میں تجھے ذبح کر کر رہا ہوں پس دیکھ تیری کیا رائےہے کہا اے ابا! جو حکم آپ کو ہوا ہے کر دیجیئے آپ مجھے انشاالله صبر کرنے والوں میں پائیں گے |
