1 [3:179] | Ma kana Allahu liyatharaalmu/mineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hattayameeza alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wama kanaAllahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinnaAllaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoobiAllahi warusulihi wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoofalakum ajrun AAatheemun
| ما كان الله ليذر المؤمنين على ما أنتم عليه حتى يميز الخبيث من الطيب وما كان الله ليطلعكم على الغيب ولكن الله يجتبي من رسله من يشاء فآمنوا بالله ورسله وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا فلكم أجر عظيم مَّا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَكِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ |

| አላህ መጥፎውን ከመልካሙ እስከሚለይ ድረስ ምእምናንን እናንተ በርሱ ላይ ባላችሁበት (ኹኔታ) ላይ የሚተው አይደለም፡፡ አላህም ሩቁን ነገር የሚያሳውቃችሁ አይደለም፡፡ ግን አላህ ከመልክተኞቹ የሚሻውን ይመርጣል፡፡ በአላህና በመልክተኞቹም እመኑ፡፡ ብታምኑና ብትጠነቀቁም ለናንተ ታላቅ ምንዳ አላችሁ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ما كان الله ليذر } ليترك { المؤمنين على ما أنتم } أيها الناس { عليه } من اختلاط المخلص بغيره { حتى يَمِيزَ } بالتخفيف والتشديد يفصل { الخبيث } المنافق { من الطيب } المؤمن بالتكاليف الشاقة المبينة لذلك ففعل ذلك يوم أحد { وما كان الله ليطلعكم على الغيب } فتعرفوا المنافق من غيره قبل التمييز { ولكنَّ الله يجتبي } يختار { من رسله من يشاء } فيطلعه على غيبه كما أطلع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على حال المنافقين { فآمنوا بالله ورسله وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا } النفاق { فلكم أجر عظيم } . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নাপাককে পাক থেকে পৃথক করে দেয়া পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, ঈমানদারগণকে সে অবস্থাতেই রাখবেন যাতে তোমরা রয়েছ, আর আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, তোমাদিগকে গায়বের সংবাদ দেবেন। কিন্তু আল্লাহ স্বীয় রসূল গণের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা বাছাই করে নিয়েছেন। সুতরাং আল্লাহর ওপর এবং তাঁর রসূলগণের ওপর তোমরা প্রত্যয় স্থাপন কর। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা যদি বিশ্বাস ও পরহেযগারীর ওপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত থেকে থাক, তবে তোমাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট প্রতিদান। |
Literal | God was not to leave the believers on what you are on it until He distinguishes/separates the bad/malicious from the good , and God was not to show/inform you on the unseen , and but God chooses/purifies from His messengers, whom He wants/wills, so believe with God and His messengers, and if you believe and fear and obey, so for you (is) a great reward. |
Yusuf Ali | Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Messengers (For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in Allah. And His messengers: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure. |
Pickthal | It is not (the purpose) of Allah to leave you in your present state till He shall separate the wicked from the good. And it is not (the purpose of) Allah to let you know the Unseen. Arberry | God will not leave the believers in the state in which you are, till He shall distinguish the corrupt from the good, and God will not inform you of the Unseen; but God chooses out of His Messengers whom He will. Shabbir Ahmed | نہیں ہے اللہ کہ چھوڑ دے مومنوں کو اس حالت میں کہ ہو تم جس میں حتّٰی کہ الگ نہ کردے ناپاک کو پاک سے اور نہیں ہے اللہ کہ مطلع کرے تم کو غیب پر، لیکن اللہ چن لیتا ہے اپنے رسُولوں میں سے جسے چاہے (غیب کی باتیں بتانے کے لیے) لہٰذا ایمان رکھو تم اللہ پر اور اس کے رسُولوں پر، اور اگر تم ایمان پر قائم رہے اور تقویٰ اختیار کیا تو تمہارے لیے ہے اجرِ عظیم۔ |
