| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:166] | Wama asabakum yawma iltaqaaljamAAani fabi-ithni Allahi waliyaAAlamaalmu/mineena
|  وما أصابكم يوم التقى الجمعان فبإذن الله وليعلم المؤمنين
وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And what| أصابكم - struck you| يوم - (on the) day| التقى - (when) met| الجمعان - the two hosts| فبإذن - (was) by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah| وليعلم - and that He (might) make evident| المؤمنين - the believers.| |

| ሁለቱ ጭፍሮችም በተጋጠሙ ቀን የደረሰባችሁ በአላህ ፈቃድ ነው፡፡ ምእምናንንም (ሊፈትንና) ሊገልጽ ነው፡፡ |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যেদিন দু’দল সৈন্যের মোকাবিলা হয়েছে; সেদিন তোমাদের উপর যা আপতিত হয়েছে তা আল্লাহর হুকুমেই হয়েছে এবং তা এজন্য যে, তাতে ঈমানদারদিগকে জানা যায়। |
| Literal | And what struck/hit you (on the) day the two groups/gatherings met , so (it is) with God's permission, and to know the believers. |
