1 [28:59] | Wama kana rabbuka muhlikaalqura hatta yabAAatha fee ommiharasoolan yatloo AAalayhim ayatina wamakunna muhlikee alqura illa waahluha thalimoona
| وما كان ربك مهلك القرى حتى يبعث في أمها رسولا يتلو عليهم آياتنا وما كنا مهلكي القرى إلا وأهلها ظالمون وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ فِي أُمِّهَا رَسُولًا يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِي الْقُرَى إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَالِمُونَ |

| ጌታህም ከተሞችን በዋናዋ (ከተማ) ውስጥ አንቀጾቻችንን በእነሱ ላይ የሚያነብ መልክተኛን እስከሚልክ ድረስ አጥፊ አልነበረም፡፡ ከተሞችንም ባለቤቶቿ በዳዮች ሆነው እንጅ አጥፊዎች አልነበርንም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وما كان ربك مهلك القرى } بظلم منها { حتى يبعث في أمها } أي أعظمها { رسولا يتلوا عليهم آياتنا وما كنا مهلكي القرى إلا وأهلها ظالمون } بتكذيب الرسل. |
| Ur Isquccu Mass ik timdinin, alamma iuzen i imezda$ nnsent, amazan i sen immalen issekniyen nne£. Ur Nesquccu timdinin, mebla ma llan imezda$ nnsent, d imednas. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পালনকর্তা জনপদসমূহকে ধ্বংস করেন না, যে পর্যন্ত তার কেন্দ্রস্থলে রসূল প্রেরণ না করেন, যিনি তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন এবং আমি জনপদসমূহকে তখনই ধ্বংস করি, যখন তার বাসিন্দারা জুলুম করে। |
Literal | And your Lord was not perishing/destroying the villages/urban cities, until He sends in its origin a messenger, he reads/recites on (to) them Our verses/evidences/signs, and We were not destroying the villages/urban cities, except and (while) its people (are) unjust/oppressive . |
Yusuf Ali | Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger, rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practise iniquity. |
Pickthal | And never did thy Lord destroy the townships, till He had raised up in their mother(-town) a messenger reciting unto them Our revelations. And never did We destroy the townships unless the folk thereof were evil-doers. |
