| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[28:28] | Qala thalika baynee wabaynakaayyama al-ajalayni qadaytu fala AAudwanaAAalayya waAllahu AAala ma naqooluwakeelun
|  قال ذلك بيني وبينك أيما الأجلين قضيت فلا عدوان علي والله على ما نقول وكيل
قَالَ ذَلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| ذلك - "That| بيني - (is) between me| وبينك - and between you.| أيما - Whichever| الأجلين - (of) the two terms| قضيت - I complete| فلا - then no| عدوان - injustice| علي - to me,| والله - and Allah,| على - over| ما - what| نقول - we say| وكيل - (is) a Witness."| |

| (ሙሳም) «ይህ (ውለታ) በእኔና ባንተ መካከል (ረጊ) ነው፡፡ ከሁለቱ ጊዜያቶች ማንኛውንም ብፈጽም በእኔ ላይ ወሰን ማለፍ የለም፡፡ አላህም በምንለነው ላይ ምስክር» ነው አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال } موسى { ذلك } الذي قلته { بيني وبينك أيما الأجلين } الثماني أو العشر وما زائدة أي رعيه { قضيت } به أي فرغت منه { فلا عدوان عليَّ } بطلب الزيادة عليه { والله على ما نقول } أنا وأنت { وكيل } حفيظ أو شهيد فتم العقد بذلك وأمر شعيب ابنته أن تعطي موسى عصا يدفع بها السباع عن غنمه وكانت عصيُّ الأنبياء عنده فوقع في يدها عصا آدم من آس الجنة فأخذها موسى بعلم شعيب. |
| Irra: "ayagi, gari yidek. A tin sâadda$ ger snat n tallitin, ur ippili felli u$ilif. Öebbi d Awkil, $ef wayen id nenna". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মূসা বললেন, আমার ও আপনার মধ্যে এই চুক্তি স্থির হল। দু’টি মেয়াদের মধ্য থেকে যে কোন একটি পূর্ণ করলে আমার বিরুদ্ধে কোন অভিযোগ থাকবে না। আমরা যা বলছি, তাতে আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা। |
| Literal | He said: "That (is) between me and between you, whichever (of) the two terms/times I accomplished/carried out, so no transgression/aggression (be) on me, and God (is) on what we say a guardian ." |
