| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[27:42] | Falamma jaat qeela ahakathaAAarshuki qalat kaannahu huwa waooteena alAAilmamin qabliha wakunna muslimeena
|  فلما جاءت قيل أهكذا عرشك قالت كأنه هو وأوتينا العلم من قبلها وكنا مسلمين
فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَكَذَا عَرْشُكِ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ وَأُوتِينَا الْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ |
| Words | |فلما - So when| جاءت - she came,| قيل - it was said,| أهكذا - "Is like this| عرشك - your throne?"| قالت - She said,| كأنه - "It is like| هو - it."| وأوتينا - "And we were given| العلم - the knowledge| من - before her| قبلها - before her| وكنا - and we have been| مسلمين - Muslims."| |

| በመጣች ጊዜ፡- «ዙፋንሽ እንደዚህ ነውን» ተባለች፡፡ «እርሱ ልክ እርሱ ነው መሰለኝ» አለች፡፡ (ሱለይማን) «ከእርሷ በፊትም ዕውቀትን ተሰጠን ሙስሊሞችም ነበርን፤» (አለ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فلما جاءت قيل } لها { أهكذا عرشك } أي أمثل هذا عرشك { قالت كأنه هو } فعرفته وشبهت عليهم كما شبهوا عليها إذ لم يقل أهذا عرشك ولو قيل هذا قالت: نعم، قال سليمان لما رأى لها معرفة وعلماً: { وأوتينا العلم من قبلها وكنا مسلمين }. |
| Mi d tusa, nnan as: "day am wagi, usgeld inem"? Terra d: "amzun d neppa". "Tusa ya$ d tmusni, uqbel neppat, nuzen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর যখন বিলকীস এসে গেল, তখন তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হল, তোমার সিংহাসন কি এরূপই? সে বলল, মনে হয় এটা সেটাই। আমরা পূর্বেই সমস্ত অবগত হয়েছি এবং আমরা আজ্ঞাবহও হয়ে গেছি। |
| Literal | So when she came, (it) was said: "Is your throne like this?" She said: "As if it, it is." And we were given the knowledge from before her, and we were Moslems/submitters. . |
| Yusuf Ali | So when she arrived, she was asked, "Is this thy throne?" She said, "It was just like this; and knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we have submitted to Allah (in Islam)." |

She realizes that the "altered throne" is outwardly the same as that which she has left behind; but she perceives intuitively that it is imbued with a spiritual quality which the other did not possess, and which she cannot yet quite understand.] [And Solomon said to his nobles: "She has arrived at the truth without any help from us,] [Thus Tabari, Zamakhshari and lbn Kathir, on whose interpretation of this passage my rendering and the above interpolation are based.] although it is we who have been given [divine] knowledge before her, and have [long ago] surrendered ourselves unto God! |
| Khalifa** | When she arrived, she was asked, "Does your mansion look like this?" She said, "It seems that this is it." (Solomon said,) "We knew beforehand what she was going to do, and we were already submitters." |

| Na kagiya a makawma (so bai sa Saba), na adn a mitharo: "Ba lagidai so kantir ka?" Pitharo iyan a: "Lagid oba skaniyan; na inibgay rkami so katao ko onaan aya, go miyabaloy kami a mimbabayorantang." |
