| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[26:211] | Wama yanbaghee lahum wamayastateeAAoona
|  وما ينبغي لهم وما يستطيعون
وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - (it) suits| لهم - [for] them| وما - and not| يستطيعون - they are able.| |

| ለእነርሱም አይገባቸውም፤ አይችሉምም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما ينبغي } يصلح { لهم } أن ينزلوا به { وما يستطيعون } ذلك . |
| Ur asen issefk, ur zmiren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা এ কাজের উপযুক্ত নয় এবং তারা এর সামর্থøও রাখে না। |
| Literal | And (it) should not (be) for them, and they are not able. |
| Yusuf Ali | It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). |
| Pickthal | It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, |
| Arberry | it behoves them not, neither are they able. |
| Shakir | And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). |
| Sarwar | they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. |
