1 [24:53] | Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihimla-in amartahum layakhrujunna qul la tuqsimoo taAAatunmaAAroofatun inna Allaha khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
| وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن أمرتهم ليخرجن قل لا تقسموا طاعة معروفة إن الله خبير بما تعملون وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ قُل لَّا تُقْسِمُوا طَاعَةٌ مَّعْرُوفَةٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيْرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ |
Words | |وأقسموا - And they swear| بالله - by Allah| جهد - strong| أيمانهم - their oaths| لئن - that if| أمرتهم - you ordered them,| ليخرجن - surely they (would) go forth.| قل - Say,| لا - "(Do) not| تقسموا - swear.| طاعة - Obedience| معروفة - (is) known.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تعملون - you do."| |

| (ለዘመቻ) ብታዛቸውም በእርግጥ ሊወጡ የጠነከሩ መሓሎቻቸውን በአላህ ስም ይምላሉ፡፡ «አትማሉ፤ የታወቀች (የንፍቅና) መታዘዝ ናትና፡፡ አላህ በምትሠሩት ነገር ሁሉ ውስጥ ዐዋቂ ነው» በላቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وأقسموا بالله جهد إيمانهم } غايتها { لئن أمرتهم } بالجهاد { ليخرجنَّ قل } لهم { لا تقسموا طاعة معروفة } للنبي خير من قسمكم الذي لا تصدقون فيه { إن الله خبير بما تعلمون } من طاعتكم بالقول ومخالفتكم بالفعل . |
| Ggulen s Öebbi, tagallit meqqwôen, ar ma tumôev asen, ard ad ff$en, war ccekk. Ini: "ur pgallat, annuz ipwassen. Öebbi, s tidep, Iéôa ayen txeddmem". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা দৃঢ়ভাবে আল্লাহর কসম খেয়ে বলে যে, আপনি তাদেরকে আদেশ করলে তারা সবকিছু ছেড়ে বের হবেই। বলুনঃ তোমরা কসম খেয়ো না। নিয়মানুযায়ী তোমাদের আনুগত্য, তোমরা যা কিছু কর নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সে বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত। |
Literal | And they swore/made oath by God their rights'/oaths' utmost , if (E) you ordered/commanded them they will get out (E), say: "Do not swear/make oath, known obedience, that God (is) expert/experienced with what you make/do ." |
Yusuf Ali | They swear their strongest oaths by Allah that, if only thou wouldst command them, they would leave (their homes). Say: "Swear ye not; Obedience is (more) reasonable; verily, Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do." |

[This is an allusion to the ephemeral, self-deceiving enthusiasms of the half-hearted and their supposed readiness for "self-sacrifice" contrasting with their obvious reluctance to live up to the message of the Quran in their day-to-day concerns.] Say: "Swear not! Reasonable compliance [with God's message is all that is required of you]. [This elliptic phrase alludes to the principle - repeatedly stressed in the Quran - that God does not burden man with more than he can easily bear.] Verily, God is aware of all that you do!" |

Abul Ala Maududi | یہ (منافق) اللہ کے نام سے کڑی کڑی قسمیں کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ "آپ حکم دیں تو ہم گھروں سے نکل کھڑے ہوں" اِن سے کہو "قسمیں نہ کھاؤ، تمہاری اطاعت کا حال معلوم ہے، تمہارے کرتوتوں سے اللہ بے خبر نہیں ہے" |
