| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[24:14] | Walawla fadlu AllahiAAalaykum warahmatuhu fee alddunya waal-akhiratilamassakum fee ma afadtum feehi AAathabunAAatheemun
|  ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته في الدنيا والآخرة لمسكم في ما أفضتم فيه عذاب عظيم
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ |
| Words | |ولولا - And if not| فضل - (for the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter,| لمسكم - surely would have touched you| في - in| ما - what| أفضتم - you had rushed glibly| فيه - concerning it| عذاب - a punishment| عظيم - great.| |

| በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም በእናንተ ላይ የአላህ ችሮታና እዝነቱ ባልነበረ ኖሮ በውስጡ በገባችሁበት ወሬ ምክንያት ታላቅ ቅጣት በእርግጥ በደረሰባችሁ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته في الدنيا والآخرة لمسكم فيما أفضتم } أيها العصبة أي خضتم { فيه عذاب عظيم } في الآخرة . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি ইহকালে ও পরকালে তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও দয়া না থাকত, তবে তোমরা যা চর্চা করছিলে, তজ্জন্যে তোমাদেরকে গুরুতর আযাব স্পর্শ করত। |
| Literal | And where it not for God's grace/favour/blessing on you and His mercy in the present world and the end (other life), great torture would have touched you in what you flowed/spread in it. |
| Yusuf Ali | Were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, in this world and the Hereafter, a grievous penalty would have seized you in that ye rushed glibly into this affair. |
