| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:80] | Wahuwa allathee yuhyeewayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahariafala taAAqiloona
|  وهو الذي يحيي ويميت وله اختلاف الليل والنهار أفلا تعقلون
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ |
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death| وله - and for Him| اختلاف - (is the) alternation| الليل - (of) the night| والنهار - and the day.| أفلا - Then will not| تعقلون - you reason?| |

| እርሱም ያ ሕያው የሚያደርግ የሚገድልም ነው፡፡ የሌሊትና የቀን መተካካትም የእርሱ ነው፡፡ አታውቁምን |
| آل الجلالين | { وهو الذي يحيى } بنفخ الروح في المضغة { ويميت وله اختلاف الليل والنهار } بالسواد والبياض والزيادة والنقصان { أفلا تعقلون } صنعه تعالى فتعتبرون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনিই প্রাণ দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান এবং দিবা-রাত্রির বিবর্তন তাঁরই কাজ, তবু ও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না? |
| Literal | And He is who revives/makes alive and makes die, and to Him the night's and the daytime's difference, so do you not reason/comprehend ? |
