| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:47] | Faqaloo anu/minu libasharayni mithlinawaqawmuhuma lana AAabidoona
|  فقالوا أنؤمن لبشرين مثلنا وقومهما لنا عابدون
فَقَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لِبَشَرَيْنِ مِثْلِنَا وَقَوْمُهُمَا لَنَا عَابِدُونَ |
| Words | |فقالوا - Then they said,| أنؤمن - "Shall we believe| لبشرين - (in) two men| مثلنا - like ourselves| وقومهما - while their people| لنا - for us| عابدون - (are) slaves."| |

| «ብጤያችንም ለኾኑ ሁለት ሰዎች ሕዝቦቻቸው ለእኛ ተገዢዎች ኾነው ሳሉ እናምናለን» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فقالوا أنؤمن لبشرين مثلنا وقومهما لنا عابدون } مطيعون خاضعون . |
| Nnan: "Day a namen sin imdanen am nekwni, u agdud nnsen d aklan nne$"? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ আমরা কি আমাদের মতই এ দুই ব্যক্তিতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব; অথচ তাদের সম্প্রদায় আমাদের দাস? |
| Literal | So they said: "Do we believe to two humans equal to us , and their (B)'s nation (are) to us worshipping?" |
| Yusuf Ali | They said: "Shall we believe in two men like ourselves? And their people are subject to us!" |
| Pickthal | And they said: Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us? |
| Arberry | and they said, 'What, shall we believe two mortals like ourselves, whose people are our servants?' |
