| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:41] | Faakhathat-humu alssayhatubialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaanfabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena
|  فأخذتهم الصيحة بالحق فجعلناهم غثاء فبعدا للقوم الظالمين
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ غُثَاءً فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Words | |فأخذتهم - So seized them| الصيحة - the awful cry| بالحق - in truth,| فجعلناهم - and We made them| غثاء - (as) rubbish of dead leaves.| فبعدا - So away| للقوم - with the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| |

| ወዲያውም (የጥፋት) ጩኸቲቱ በእውነት ያዘቻቸው፡፡ እንደ ጎርፍ ግብስባሽም አደረግናቸው፡፡ ለበደለኞች ሕዝቦችም (ከእዝነት) መራቅ ተገባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فأخذتهم الصيحة } صيحة العذاب والهلاك كائنة { بالحق } فماتوا { فجعلناهم غثاءً } هو نبت يبس أي صيرناهم مثله في اليبس { فبعداً } من الرحمة { للقوم الظالمين } المكذبين . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর সত্য সত্যই এক ভয়ংকর শব্দ তাদেরকে হতচকিত করল এবং আমি তাদেরকে বাত্যা-তাড়িত আবর্জনা সদৃশ করে দিলাম। অতঃপর ধ্বংস হোক পাপী সম্প্রদায়। |
| Literal | So the loud strong cry/torture raid punished/took them with the truth , so We made them rotten/useless , so a destruction/curse to the nation the unjust/oppressive. |
| Yusuf Ali | Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! |
