[21:5] | Bal qaloo adghathu ahlaminbali iftarahu bal huwa shaAAirun falya/tinabi-ayatin kama orsila al-awwaloona
|  بل قالوا أضغاث أحلام بل افتراه بل هو شاعر فليأتنا بآية كما أرسل الأولون
بَلْ قَالُواْ أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَمٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ |
| Words | |بل - Nay,| قالوا - they say,| أضغاث - "Muddled| أحلام - dreams;| بل - nay,| افتراه - he (has) invented it;| بل - nay,| هو - he| شاعر - (is) a poet.| فليأتنا - So let him bring us| بآية - a sign| كما - like what| أرسل - was sent| الأولون - (to) the former."| |

| «በእውነቱ (ቁርኣኑ) የሕልሞች ቅዠቶች ነው፡፡ ይልቁንም ቀጠፈው እንዲያውም እርሱ ቅኔን ገጣሚ ነው፡፡ የቀድሞዎቹም እንደተላኩ (መልክተኛ ከኾነ) በተዓምር ይምጣብን» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { بل } للانتقال من غرض إلى آخر في المواضع الثلاثة { قالوا } فيما أتى به من القرآن هو { أضغاث أحلام } أخلاط رآها في النوم { بل افتراه } اختلقه { بل هو شاعر } فما أتى به شعر { فليأتنا بآية كما أرسل الأولون } كالناقة والعصا واليد قال تعالى : |
| Maca, nnan: "d taffa n tirga. Xaîi! Isnulfa t id. Xaîi! Neppa d amedyaz. Aha san, ad a$ d iawi assekni, akken id ippuceggaâ i imezwura"! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এছাড়া তারা আরও বলেঃ অলীক স্বপ্ন; না সে মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন করেছে, না সে একজন কবি। অতএব সে আমাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন আনয়ন করুক, যেমন নিদর্শন সহ আগমন করেছিলেন পূর্ববর্তীগন। |
| Literal | But they said: "A confused mixture of dreams with no basis, rather he fabricated/cut and split it, rather he is a poet, so he should come/bring us with a verse/evidence/sign, as/like the first/beginners were sent." |
