| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[20:113] | Wakathalika anzalnahu qur-ananAAarabiyyan wasarrafna feehi mina alwaAAeedilaAAallahum yattaqoona aw yuhdithu lahum thikran
|  وكذلك أنزلناه قرآنا عربيا وصرفنا فيه من الوعيد لعلهم يتقون أو يحدث لهم ذكرا
وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا |
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أنزلناه - We have sent it down,| قرآنا - (the) Quran| عربيا - (in) Arabic| وصرفنا - and We have explained| فيه - in it| من - of| الوعيد - the warnings| لعلهم - that they may| يتقون - fear| أو - or| يحدث - it may cause| لهم - [for] them| ذكرا - remembrance.| |

| እንደዚሁም ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ኾኖ አወረድነው፡፡ አላህንም ይፈሩ ዘንድ ወይም ለእነሱ ግሣጼን ያድስላቸው ዘንድ ከዛቻ ደጋግመን በውስጡ ገለጽን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكذلك } معطوف على كذلك نقص: أي مثل إنزال ما ذكر { أنزلناه } أي القرآن { قرآناً عربيا وصرفنا } كررنا { فيه من الوعيد لعلهم يتقون } الشرك { أو يُحدث } القرآن { لهم ذكراً } بهلاك من تقدمهم من الأمم فيعتبرون . |
| Akka, Nessers it id, d Leqwôan s taâôabt. Nenewwel ed, degs, aâeggen, amar ad êezben, u a ten id ias usmekti. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এমনিভাবে আমি আরবী ভাষায় কোরআন নাযিল করেছি এবং এতে নানাভাবে সতর্কবাণী ব্যক্ত করেছি, যাতে তারা আল্লাহভীরু হয় অথবা তাদের অন্তরে চিন্তার খোরাক যোগায়। |
| Literal | And as/like that We descended it (as) an Arabic Koran, and We laid out/detailed linguistically in it from the threat, maybe/perhaps they fear and obey, or it initiates/originates/informs for them a reminder/remembrance. |
| Yusuf Ali | Thus have We sent this down - an arabic Qur'an - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him). |
