[2:272] | Laysa AAalayka hudahum walakinnaAllaha yahdee man yashao wama tunfiqoo minkhayrin fali-anfusikum wama tunfiqoona illa ibtighaawajhi Allahi wama tunfiqoo min khayrin yuwaffailaykum waantum la tuthlamoona
|  ليس عليك هداهم ولكن الله يهدي من يشاء وما تنفقوا من خير فلأنفسكم وما تنفقون إلا ابتغاء وجه الله وما تنفقوا من خير يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمون
لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكَ هُدَاهُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللّهِ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ |

| እነርሱን ማቅናት በአንተ ላይ የለብህም፡፡ ግን አላህ የሚሻውን ሰው ያቀናል፡፡ ከገንዘብም የምትለግሱት (ምንዳው) ለነፍሶቻችሁ ነው፡፡ የአላህንም ፊት (ውዴታውን) ለመፈለግ እንጂ አትለግሱም፡፡ ከገንዘብም የምትለግሱት ሁሉ (ምንዳው) ወደናንተ ይሞላል፡፡ እናንተም አትበደሉም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ولما منع صلى الله عليه وسلم من التصدق على المشركين ليسلموا نزل : { ليس عليك هداهم } أي الناس إلى الدخول في الإسلام إنما عليك البلاغ { ولكن الله يهدي من يشاء } هدايته إلى الدخول فيه { وما تنفقوا من خير } مال { فلأنفسكم } لأن ثوابه لها { وما تنفقون إلا ابتغاء وجه الله } أي ثوابه لاغيره من أعراض الدنيا خبر بمعنى النهي { وما تنفقوا من خير يوفَّ إليكم } جزاؤه { وأنتم لا تُظلمون } تنقصون منه شيئاً والجملتان تأكيد للأولى . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদেরকে সৎপথে আনার দায় তোমার নয়। বরং আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। যে মাল তোমরা ব্যয় কর, তা নিজ উপাকারার্থেই কর। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি ছাড়া অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করো না। তোমরা যে, অর্থ ব্যয় করবে, তার পুরস্কার পুরোপুরি পেয়ে যাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি অন্যায় করা হবে না। |
| Literal | Their guidance (is) not on you, and but God guides whom he wills/wants, and what you spend from goodness/wealth , so it is for yourselves, and you do not spend, except asking/desiring God's face/direction , and what you spend from goodness/wealth is fulfilled/completed to you, and you are not being caused injustice to/oppressed. |
