| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:271] | In tubdoo alssadaqatifaniAAimma hiya wa-in tukhfooha watu/toohaalfuqaraa fahuwa khayrun lakum wayukaffiru AAankum minsayyi-atikum waAllahu bimataAAmaloona khabeerun
|  إن تبدوا الصدقات فنعما هي وإن تخفوها وتؤتوها الفقراء فهو خير لكم ويكفر عنكم من سيئاتكم والله بما تعملون خبير
إِن تُبْدُواْ الصَّدَقَاتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ |
| Words | |إن - If| تبدوا - you disclose| الصدقات - the charities| فنعما - then good| هي - it (is).| وإن - But if| تخفوها - you keep it secret| وتؤتوها - and give it| الفقراء - (to) the poor,| فهو - then it| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you.| ويكفر - And He will remove| عنكم - from you| من - [of]| سيئاتكم - your evil deeds.| والله - And Allah| بما - with what| تعملون - you do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| |

| ምጽዋቶችን ብትገልጹ እርሷ ምንኛ መልካም ናት፡፡ ብትደብቋትና ለድኾች ብትሰጧትም እርሱ ለናንተ በላጭ ነው፡፡ ከኃጢአቶቻችሁም ከእናንተ ያብሳል፡፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن تبدوا } تظهروا { الصدقات } أي النوافل { فَنعمَّا هي } أي نعم شيئاً إبداؤها { وإن تخفوها } تسروها { وتؤتوها الفقراء فهو خير لكم } من إبدائها وإيتائها الأغنياء أما صدقة الفرض فالأفضل إظهارها ليقتدي به ولئلا يتهم، وإيتاؤها الفقراء متعين { ويكَفِّر } بالياء والنون مجزوما بالعطف على محل فهو ومرفوعا على الاستئناف { عنكم من } بعض { سيئاتكم والله بما تعملون خبير } عالم بباطنه كظاهره لا يخفى عليه شيء منه . |
| Ma tefkam ssadaqat âinani, ilha. Yif it ma s tuffra, u ma tefkam tent i ime$ban. Ad pwakksent kra si tucmitin nnwen. Öebbi Ippuxebbeô $ef wayen txeddmem. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি তোমরা প্রকাশ্যে দান-খয়রাত কর, তবে তা কতইনা উত্তম। আর যদি খয়রাত গোপনে কর এবং অভাবগ্রস্তদের দিয়ে দাও, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে আরও উত্তম। আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের কিছু গোনাহ দূর করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খুব খবর রাখেন। |
| Literal | If you show the charities, so it is blessed/praised, and if you hide it and you bring/give (to) the poor/needy ,so it is better for you, and He covers/substitutes from you, from your sins/crimes, and God (is) with what you make/do informed/experienced. |
| Yusuf Ali | If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. |
| Pickthal | If ye publish your almsgiving, it is well, but if ye hide it and give it to the poor, it will be better for you, and will atone for some of your ill-deeds. Allah is Informed of what ye do. |
| Arberry | If you publish your freewill offerings, it is excellent; but if you conceal them, and give them to the poor, that is better for you, and will acquit you of your evil deeds; God is aware of the things you do. |
| Shakir | If you give alms openly, it is well, and if you hide it and give it to the poor, it is better for you; and this will do away with some of your evil deeds; and Allah is aware of what you do. |
| Sarwar | It is not bad to give alms in public. However if you give them privately to the poor, it would be better for you and an expiation for some of your sins. God is Well-Aware of what you do. |
| H/K/Saheeh | If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted. |
| Malik | To give charity in public is good, but to give to the poor in private is better and will remove from you some of your sins. Allah is aware of your actions.[271] |
