| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:227] | Wa-in AAazamoo alttalaqafa-inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun
|  وإن عزموا الطلاق فإن الله سميع عليم
وَإِنْ عَزَمُواْ الطَّلاَقَ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| عزموا - they resolve| الطلاق - (on) [the] divorce -| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| |

| መፍታትንም ቁርጥ አሳብ ቢያደርጉ (ይፍቱ)፡፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن عزموا الطلاق } أي عليه بأن لا يفيئوا فليوقعوه { فإن الله سميع } لقولهم { عليم } بعزمهم المعنى ليس لهم بعد تربص ما ذكر إلا الفيئة أو الطلاق . |
| Ma âazmen berru, ihi, Öebbi Issel, d Amusnaw. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যদি বর্জন করার সংকল্প করে নেয়, তাহলে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী ও জ্ঞানী। |
| Literal | And if they decided/determined the divorce, (so) then God (is) hearing/listening knowledgeable. |
| Yusuf Ali | But if their intention is firm for divorce, Allah heareth and knoweth all things. |
| Pickthal | And if they decide upon divorce (let them remember that) Allah is Hearer, Knower. |
