1 [2:17] | Mathaluhum kamathali allatheeistawqada naran falamma adaat ma hawlahuthahaba Allahu binoorihim watarakahum fee thulumatinla yubsiroona
| مثلهم كمثل الذي استوقد نارا فلما أضاءت ما حوله ذهب الله بنورهم وتركهم في ظلمات لا يبصرون مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَاراً فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ |

| (በንፍቅና) ምሳሌያቸው እንደዚያ እሳትን እንዳነደደ ሰው በዙሪያው ያለውን ሁሉ ባበራች ጊዜም አላህ ብርሃናቸውን እንደወሰደባቸው በጨለማዎችም ውስጥ የማያዩ ኾነው እንደተዋቸው (ሰዎች) ብጤ ነው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { مثلهم } صفتهم في نفاقهم { كمثل الذي استوقد } أوقد { ناراً } في ظلمة { فلما أضاءت } أنارت { ما حوله } فأبصر واستدفأ وأمن مما يخافه { ذهب الله بنورهم } أطفأه وجُمع الضمير مراعاة لمعنى الذي { وتركهم في ظلمات لا يبصرون } ما حولهم متحيرين عن الطريق خائفين فكذلك هؤلاء أمِنوا بإظهار كلمة الإيمان فإذا ماتوا جاءهم الخوف والعذاب. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের অবস্থা সে ব্যক্তির মত, যে লোক কোথাও আগুন জ্বালালো এবং তার চারদিককার সবকিছুকে যখন আগুন স্পষ্ট করে তুললো, ঠিক এমনি সময় আল্লাহ তার চারদিকের আলোকে উঠিয়ে নিলেন এবং তাদেরকে অন্ধকারে ছেড়ে দিলেন। ফলে, তারা কিছুই দেখতে পায় না। |
Literal | Their example (is) as the one who ignited a fire, so when it lit/illuminated what (is) around/surrounding him, God took/went away with their light, and left them in darknesses, they do not see/understand . |
