| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:98] | Qala hatha rahmatun minrabbee fa-itha jaa waAAdu rabbee jaAAalahu dakkaawakana waAAdu rabbee haqqan
|  قال هذا رحمة من ربي فإذا جاء وعد ربي جعله دكاء وكان وعد ربي حقا
قَالَ هَذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّي فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاءَ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي حَقًّا |
| Words | |قال - He said,| هذا - "This| رحمة - (is) a mercy| من - from| ربي - my Lord.| فإذا - But when| جاء - comes| وعد - (the) Promise| ربي - (of) my Lord,| جعله - He will make it| دكاء - level.| وكان - And is| وعد - (the) Promise| ربي - (of) my Lord| حقا - true."| |

| «ይህ (ግድብ) ከጌታዬ ችሮታ ነው፡፡ የጌታየም ቀጠሮ በመጣ ጊዜ ትክክል ምድር ያደርገዋል፡፡ የጌታዬም ቀጠሮ ተረጋገጠ ነው» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال } ذو القرنين { هذا } أي السد، أي الإقدار عليه { رحمة من ربي } نعمة لأنه مانع من خروجهم { فإذا جاء وعد ربي } بخروجهم القريب من البعث { جعله دكاء } مدكوكا مبسوطا { وكان وعد ربي } بخروجهم وغيره { حقا } كائنا قال تعالى: |
| Inna: "ayagi d aêunu s$uô Mass iw. Mi d tusa lemâahda n Mass iw, a t Isawi. Lemâahda n Mass iw d tidep". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যুলকারনাইন বললেনঃ এটা আমার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ। যখন আমার পালনকর্তার প্রতিশ্রুত সময় আসবে, তখন তিনি একে চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দেবেন এবং আমার পালনকর্তার প্রতিশ্রুতি সত্য। |
