| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:74] | Faintalaqa hattaitha laqiya ghulaman faqatalahu qalaaqatalta nafsan zakiyyatan bighayri nafsin laqad ji/ta shay-annukran
|  فانطلقا حتى إذا لقيا غلاما فقتله قال أقتلت نفسا زكية بغير نفس لقد جئت شيئا نكرا
فَانطَلَقَا حَتَّى إِذَا لَقِيَا غُلاَمًا فَقَتَلَهُ قَالَ أَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا زَكِيَّةً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ لَّقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا نُّكْرًا |
| Words | |فانطلقا - Then they both set out| حتى - until| إذا - when| لقيا - they met| غلاما - a boy,| فقتله - then he killed him.| قال - He said,| أقتلت - "Have you killed| نفسا - a soul,| زكية - pure,| بغير - for other than| نفس - a soul?| لقد - Certainly,| جئت - you have done| شيئا - a thing| نكرا - evil."| |

| (ወርደው) ተጓዙም፡፡ ወጣትንም ልጅ ባገኙና በገደለው፤ «ጊዜ ያለ ነፍስ (መግደል) ንጹሕን ነፍስ ገደልክን በእርግጥ መጥፎን ነገር ሥራህ» አለው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فانطلقا } بعد خروجهما من السفينة يمشيان { حتى إذا لقيا غلاما } لم يبلغ الحنث يلعب مع الصبيان أحسنهم وجها { فقتله } الخضر بأن ذبحه بالسكين مضطجعا أو اقتلع رأسه بيده أو ضرب رأسه بالجدار ، أقوال وأتى هنا بالفاء العاطفة لأن القتل عقب اللقاء وجواب إذا { قال } له موسى { أقتلت نفسا زاكية } أي طاهرة لم تبلغ حد التكليف وفي قراءة زكية بتشديد الياء بلا ألف { بغير نفس } أي لم تقتل نفسا { لقد جئت شيئا نكرا } بسكون الكاف وضمها أي منكرا . |
| Lêan, armi d mmugren ileméi. In$a t. Inna: "ten$iv amdan ur nen$i yiwen! Ni$ d ayen idensen ay txedmev". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল। অবশেষে যখন একটি বালকের সাক্ষাত পেলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে হত্যা করলেন। মূসা বললেন? আপনি কি একটি নিস্পাপ জীবন শেষ করে দিলেন প্রাণের বিনিময় ছাড়াই? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন। |
| Literal | So they (B) left/set out until when they (B) met/found a servant/boy , so he killed him. He (Moses) said: "Did you kill a pure self without a self? You had come (with) an awful/obscene thing." |
| Yusuf Ali | Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!" |
| Pickthal | So they twain journeyed on till, when they met a lad, he slew him. (Moses) said: What! Hast thou slain an innocent soul who hath slain no man? Verily thou hast done a horrid thing. |
| Arberry | So they departed; until, when they met a lad, he slew him. He said, 'What, hast thou slain a soul innocent, and that not to retaliate for a soul slain? Thou hast indeed done a horrible thing.' |
