| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:74] | Walawla an thabbatnaka laqadkidta tarkanu ilayhim shay-an qaleelan
|  ولولا أن ثبتناك لقد كدت تركن إليهم شيئا قليلا
وَلَوْلاَ أَن ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلاً |
| Words | |ولولا - And if not| أن - [that]| ثبتناك - We (had) strengthened you,| لقد - certainly,| كدت - you almost| تركن - (would) have inclined| إليهم - to them| شيئا - (in) something| قليلا - a little.| |

| ባላረጋንህም ኖሮ ወደነሱ ጥቂትን (ዝንባሌ) ልትዘነበል በእርግጥ በተቃረብክ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولولا أن ثبتناك } على الحق بالعصمة { لقد كدت } قاربت { تركن } تميل { إليهم شيئا } ركونا { قليلاً } لشدة احتيالهم وإلحاحهم، وهو صريح في أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يركن ولا قارب . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি আপনাকে দৃঢ়পদ না রাখলে আপনি তাদের প্রতি কিছুটা ঝুঁকেই পড়তেন। |
| Literal | And were it not for that We encouraged/stabilized you, you would have (E) (been) almost to lean towards to them a little/small thing.195 |
