| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:61] | Wa-ith qulna lilmala-ikatiosjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa qalaaasjudu liman khalaqta teenan
|  وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس قال أأسجد لمن خلقت طينا
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ أَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ طِينًا |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلنا - We said| للملائكة - to the Angels,| اسجدوا - "Prostrate| لآدم - to Adam."| فسجدوا - So they prostrated| إلا - except| إبليس - Iblis.| قال - He said,| أأسجد - "Shall I prostrate| لمن - to (one) whom| خلقت - You created| طينا - (from) clay?"| |

| ለመላእክትም ለአደም ስገዱ ባልናቸው ጊዜ (አስታውስ)፡፡ ወዲያውም ሰገዱ፤ ኢብሊስ ብቻ ሲቀር፡፡ «ከጭቃ ለፈጠርከው ሰው እሰግዳለሁን» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } اذكر { إذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم } سجود تحية بالانحناء { فسجدوا إلا إبليس قال أأسجد لمن خلقت طينا } نصب بنزع الخافض أي من طين . |
| Mi Nenna i lmalayek: "knumt i Adem", knant, siwa Iblis. Inna: "day ad knu$ i win Txelqev s talaxt"? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | স্মরণ কর, যখন আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে বললামঃ আদমকে সেজদা কর, তখন ইবলীস ব্যতীত সবাই সেজদায় পড়ে গেল। কিন্তু সে বললঃ আমি কি এমন ব্যক্তিকে সেজদা করব, যাকে আপনি মাটির দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন? |
| Literal | And when We said to the angels: "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Satan/Iblis, he said: "Do I prostrate to who you created (from) mud/clay ?" |
