| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:78] | Qaloo ya ayyuhaalAAazeezu inna lahu aban shaykhan kabeeran fakhuth ahadanamakanahu inna naraka mina almuhsineena
|  قالوا يا أيها العزيز إن له أبا شيخا كبيرا فخذ أحدنا مكانه إنا نراك من المحسنين
قَالُواْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْعَزِيزُ إِنَّ لَهُ أَبًا شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا فَخُذْ أَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهُ إِنَّا نَرَاكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أيها - "O| العزيز - Aziz!| إن - Indeed,| له - he has| أبا - a father| شيخا - old| كبيرا - [great],| فخذ - so take| أحدنا - one of us| مكانه - (in) his place.| إنا - Indeed, we| نراك - [we] see you| من - of| المحسنين - the good-doers."| |

| አንተ የተከበርከው ሆይ! «ለእርሱ በእርግጥ ታላቅ ሽማግሌ አባት አለው፡፡ ስለዚህ በእርሱ ስፍራ አንደኛችንን ያዝ፡፡ እኛ ከመልካም ሠሪዎች ሆነህ እናይሃለንና» አሉት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا يا أيها العزيز إن له أبا شيخا كبيرا } يحبه أكثر منا ويتسلى به عن ولده الهالك ويحزنه ففراقه { فخذ أحدنا } استبعده { مكانه } بدلا منه { إنا نراك من المحسنين } في أفعالك . |
| Nnan: "a yameqwôan, baba s, s tidep, wesser. Eîîef yiwen segne$ deg umekkan is. Nwala k, ih, telliv si lâuûam". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলতে লাগলঃ হে আযীয, তার পিতা আছেন, যিনি খুবই বৃদ্ধ বয়স্ক। সুতরাং আপনি আমাদের একজনকে তার বদলে রেখে দিন। আমরা আপনাকে অনুগ্রহশীল ব্যক্তিদের একজন দেখতে পাচ্ছি। |
| Literal | They said: "You, you Elaziz/Egyptian ruler, that to him (is) an old aged big father, so take/receive any of us (in) his place/position, that we, we see you from the good doers." |
