[12:79] | Qala maAAatha Allahi anna/khutha illa man wajadna mataAAanaAAindahu inna ithan lathalimoona
|  قال معاذ الله أن نأخذ إلا من وجدنا متاعنا عنده إنا إذا لظالمون
قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللّهِ أَن نَّأْخُذَ إِلاَّ مَن وَجَدْنَا مَتَاعَنَا عِندَهُ إِنَّـآ إِذًا لَّظَالِمُونَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| معاذ - "Allah forbid| الله - "Allah forbid| أن - that| نأخذ - we take| إلا - except| من - (one) who,| وجدنا - we found| متاعنا - our possession| عنده - with him.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لظالمون - surely (would be) wrongdoers."| |

| «ዕቃችንን እርሱ ዘንድ ያገኘንበትን ሰው እንጂ ሌላን ከመያዝ በአላህ እንጠብቃለን፡፡ እኛ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ በዳዮች ነን» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال معاذ الله } نصب على المصدر حذف فعله وأضيف إلى المفعول أي نعوذ بالله من { أن نأخذ إلا من وجدنا متاعنا عنده } لم يقل من سرق تحرّزا من الكذب { إنا إذا } إن أخذنا غيره { لظالمون } . |
| Inna: "ur a$ Iâammed Öebbi a neîîef, siwa win u$uô nufa ta$awsa nne$. Mulac, war ccekk, a nili d imednas". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনি বললেনঃ যার কাছে আমরা আমাদের মাল পেয়েছি, তাকে ছাড়া আর কাউকে গ্রেফতার করা থেকে আল্লাহ আমাদের রক্ষা করুন। তা হলে তো আমরা নিশ্চিতই অন্যায়কারী হয়ে যাব। |
| Literal | He said: "I seek protection (of) God, that we take except whom we found our belongings/effects/goods at him then we are unjust/oppressive (E) ." |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "Allah forbid that we take other than him with whom we found our property: indeed (if we did so), we should be acting wrongfully. |
