| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:92] | Qala ya qawmi arahteeaAAazzu AAalaykum mina Allahi waittakhathtumoohuwaraakum thihriyyan inna rabbee bimataAAmaloona muheetun
|  قال يا قوم أرهطي أعز عليكم من الله واتخذتموه وراءكم ظهريا إن ربي بما تعملون محيط
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَهْطِي أَعَزُّ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُ وَرَاءَكُمْ ظِهْرِيًّا إِنَّ رَبِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| أرهطي - Is my family| أعز - mightier| عليكم - on you| من - than| الله - Allah?| واتخذتموه - And you have taken Him,| وراءكم - behind your| ظهريا - backs.| إن - Indeed,| ربي - my Lord| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| محيط - (is) All-Encompassing.| |

| «ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! ጎሳዎቼ በእናንተ ላይ ከአላህ ይልቅ የከበሩ ናቸውን (አላህን) ከኋላችሁ ወደ ጀርባ አድርጋችሁም ያዛችሁት፡፡ ጌታዬ በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ከባቢ ነው» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال يا قوم أرهطي أعز عليكم من الله } فتتركوا قتلي لأجلهم ولا تحفظوني لله { واتخذتموه } أي الله { وراءكم ظهريا } منبوذا خلف ظهوركم لا تراقبونه { إن ربي بما تعملون محيط } علما فيجازيكم . |
| Inna: "a yagdud iw! Day Öebbi, $uôwen, yif iT walag iw, di tezmert? Terram T ar deffir n waârur nnwen. Mass iw, s tidep, Izzi i wayen txeddmem. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) বলেন-হে আমার জাতি, আমার ভাই বন্ধুরা কি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর চেয়ে প্রভাবশালী? আর তোমরা তাকে বিস্মৃত হয়ে পেছনে ফেলে রেখেছ, নিশ্চয় তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ আমার পালনকর্তার আয়ত্তে রয়েছে। |
| Literal | He said: "You (my) nation, is my tribe/group dearer to you than God, and you took Him behind you forgotten behind the back? That my Lord (is) with what you make/do surrounding ." |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "O my people! is then my family of more consideration with you than Allah? For ye cast Him away behind your backs (with contempt). But verily my Lord encompasseth on all sides all that ye do! |
