| 1 [19:92] | Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmanian yattakhitha waladan |  وما ينبغي للرحمن أن يتخذ ولداوَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - is appropriate| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 2 [25:18] | Qaloo subhanaka ma kanayanbaghee lana an nattakhitha min doonika min awliyaawalakin mattaAAtahum waabaahum hattanasoo alththikra wakanoo qawman booran | قالوا سبحانك ما كان ينبغي لنا أن نتخذ من دونك من أولياء ولكن متعتهم وآباءهم حتى نسوا الذكر وكانوا قوما بورا قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنبَغِي لَنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّى نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| ما - Not| كان - it was proper| ينبغي - it was proper| لنا - for us| أن - that| نتخذ - we take| من - besides You| دونك - besides You| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| ولكن - But| متعتهم - You gave them comforts| وآباءهم - and their forefathers| حتى - until| نسوا - they forgot| الذكر - the Message| وكانوا - and became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 3 [26:211] | Wama yanbaghee lahum wamayastateeAAoona | وما ينبغي لهم وما يستطيعون وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - (it) suits| لهم - [for] them| وما - and not| يستطيعون - they are able.| | ||||||
| 4 [36:40] | La alshshamsu yanbaghee lahaan tudrika alqamara wala allaylu sabiqu alnnahariwakullun fee falakin yasbahoona | لا الشمس ينبغي لها أن تدرك القمر ولا الليل سابق النهار وكل في فلك يسبحون لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| الشمس - the sun| ينبغي - is permitted| لها - for it -| أن - that| تدرك - it overtakes| القمر - the moon,| ولا - and not| الليل - the night| سابق - (can) outstrip| النهار - the day,| وكل - but all| في - in| فلك - an orbit| يسبحون - they are floating.| | ||||||
| 5 [36:69] | Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAArawama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrunwaqur-anun mubeenun | وما علمناه الشعر وما ينبغي له إن هو إلا ذكر وقرآن مبين وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| علمناه - We taught him| الشعر - [the] poetry,| وما - and not| ينبغي - it is befitting| له - for him.| إن - Not| هو - it| إلا - (is) except| ذكر - a Reminder| وقرآن - and a Quran| مبين - clear,| | ||||||
| 6 [38:35] | Qala rabbi ighfir lee wahab leemulkan la yanbaghee li-ahadin min baAAdee innakaanta alwahhabu | قال رب اغفر لي وهب لي ملكا لا ينبغي لأحد من بعدي إنك أنت الوهاب قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّنْ بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| وهب - and grant| لي - me| ملكا - a kingdom,| لا - not| ينبغي - (will) belong| لأحد - to anyone| من - after me.| بعدي - after me.| إنك - Indeed, You| أنت - [You]| الوهاب - (are) the Bestower."| | ||||||
