| 1 [2:10] | Fee quloobihim maradun fazadahumuAllahu maradan walahum AAathabun aleemun bimakanoo yakthiboona |  في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب أليم بما كانوا يكذبونفِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |في - In| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease,| فزادهم - so has increased them| الله - Allah| مرضا - (in) disease;| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكذبون - [they] lie.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:77] | FaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihimila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha mawaAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona | فأعقبهم نفاقا في قلوبهم إلى يوم يلقونه بما أخلفوا الله ما وعدوه وبما كانوا يكذبون فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُ بِمَا أَخْلَفُواْ اللّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأعقبهم - So He penalized them| نفاقا - (with) hypocrisy| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| إلى - until| يوم - the day| يلقونه - when they will meet Him,| بما - because| أخلفوا - they broke| الله - (the covenant with) Allah| ما - what| وعدوه - they had promised Him,| وبما - and because| كانوا - they used to| يكذبون - lie.| | ||||||
| 3 [26:12] | Qala rabbi innee akhafu anyukaththibooni | قال رب إني أخاف أن يكذبون قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ | |||||

| 4 [28:34] | Waakhee haroonu huwa afsahuminnee lisanan faarsilhu maAAiya rid-an yusaddiquneeinnee akhafu an yukaththibooni | وأخي هارون هو أفصح مني لسانا فأرسله معي ردءا يصدقني إني أخاف أن يكذبون وَأَخِي هَارُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّي لِسَانًا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِيَ رِدْءًا يُصَدِّقُنِي إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ | |||||
