| 1 [7:70] | Qaloo aji/tana linaAAbuda Allahawahdahu wanathara ma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena |  قالوا أجئتنا لنعبد الله وحده ونذر ما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من الصادقينقَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّهَ وَحْدَهُ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أجئتنا - "Have you come to us| لنعبد - that we (should) worship| الله - Allah| وحده - Alone| ونذر - and we forsake| ما - what| كان - used to| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers?| فأتنا - Then bring us| بما - of what| تعدنا - you promise us,| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| الصادقين - the truthful."| | ||||||
| 2 [11:62] | Qaloo ya salihuqad kunta feena marjuwwan qabla hatha atanhanaan naAAbuda ma yaAAbudu abaonawa-innana lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonailayhi mureebun | قالوا يا صالح قد كنت فينا مرجوا قبل هذا أتنهانا أن نعبد ما يعبد آباؤنا وإننا لفي شك مما تدعونا إليه مريب قَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَـذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| صالح - O Salih!| قد - Verily| كنت - you were| فينا - among us| مرجوا - the one in whom hope was placed| قبل - before| هذا - this.| أتنهانا - Do you forbid us| أن - that| نعبد - we worship| ما - what| يعبد - our forefathers worshipped?| آباؤنا - our forefathers worshipped?| وإننا - And indeed we| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعونا - you call us| إليه - to it,| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 3 [11:87] | Qaloo ya shuAAaybu asalatukata/muruka an natruka ma yaAAbudu abaonaaw an nafAAala fee amwalina ma nashaoinnaka laanta alhaleemu alrrasheedu | قالوا يا شعيب أصلاتك تأمرك أن نترك ما يعبد آباؤنا أو أن نفعل في أموالنا ما نشاء إنك لأنت الحليم الرشيد قَالُواْ يَا شُعَيْبُ أَصَلاَتُكَ تَأْمُرُكَ أَن نَّتْرُكَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا أَوْ أَن نَّفْعَلَ فِي أَمْوَالِنَا مَا نَشَاءُ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ الْحَلِيمُ الرَّشِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| شعيب - "O Shuaib!| أصلاتك - Does your prayer| تأمرك - command you| أن - that| نترك - we leave| ما - what| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers,| أو - or| أن - that| نفعل - we do| في - concerning| أموالنا - our wealth| ما - what| نشاء - we will?| إنك - Indeed you,| لأنت - surely you| الحليم - (are) the forbearing,| الرشيد - the right-minded."| | ||||||
| 4 [11:109] | Fala taku fee miryatin mimmayaAAbudu haola-i ma yaAAbudoona illakama yaAAbudu abaohum min qablu wa-innalamuwaffoohum naseebahum ghayra manqoosin | فلا تك في مرية مما يعبد هؤلاء ما يعبدون إلا كما يعبد آباؤهم من قبل وإنا لموفوهم نصيبهم غير منقوص فَلاَ تَكُ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَـؤُلاَءِ مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُهُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلا - So (do) not| تك - be| في - in| مرية - doubt| مما - as to what| يعبد - worship| هؤلاء - these (polytheists).| ما - Not| يعبدون - they worship| إلا - except| كما - as what| يعبد - worshipped| آباؤهم - their forefathers| من - before.| قبل - before.| وإنا - And indeed, We| لموفوهم - will surely pay them in full| نصيبهم - their share| غير - without| منقوص - being diminished.| | ||||||
| 5 [14:10] | Qalat rusuluhum afee Allahishakkun fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiyadAAookum liyaghfira lakum min thunoobikumwayu-akhkhirakum ila ajalin musamman qaloo in antumilla basharun mithluna tureedoona an tasuddoonaAAamma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/toona bisultanin mubeenin | قالت رسلهم أفي الله شك فاطر السماوات والأرض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى قالوا إن أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا تريدون أن تصدونا عما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتونا بسلطان مبين قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَـمًّى قَالُواْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| رسلهم - their Messengers,| أفي - "Can (there) be about| الله - Allah| شك - any doubt,| فاطر - (the) Creator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| يدعوكم - He invites you,| ليغفر - so that He may forgive| لكم - for you| من - [of]| ذنوبكم - your sins,| ويؤخركم - and give you respite| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed."| قالوا - They said,| إن - "Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| بشر - a human| مثلنا - like us,| تريدون - you wish| أن - to| تصدونا - hinder us| عما - from what| كان - used to| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers.| فأتونا - So bring us| بسلطان - an authority| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 6 [22:11] | Wamina alnnasi man yaAAbuduAllaha AAala harfin fa-in asabahukhayrun itmaanna bihi wa-in asabat-hu fitnatuninqalaba AAala wajhihi khasira alddunya waal-akhiratathalika huwa alkhusranu almubeenu | ومن الناس من يعبد الله على حرف فإن أصابه خير اطمأن به وإن أصابته فتنة انقلب على وجهه خسر الدنيا والآخرة ذلك هو الخسران المبين وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الناس - the mankind| من - (is he) who| يعبد - worships| الله - Allah| على - on| حرف - an edge.| فإن - And if| أصابه - befalls him| خير - good,| اطمأن - he is content| به - with it,| وإن - and if| أصابته - befalls him| فتنة - a trial| انقلب - he turns| على - on| وجهه - his face.| خسر - He has lost| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ذلك - That| هو - [it]| الخسران - (is) the loss| المبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 7 [34:43] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qaloo ma hatha illarajulun yureedu an yasuddakum AAamma kanayaAAbudu abaokum waqaloo ma hathailla ifkun muftaran waqala allatheenakafaroo lilhaqqi lamma jaahum in hathailla sihrun mubeenun | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قالوا ما هذا إلا رجل يريد أن يصدكم عما كان يعبد آباؤكم وقالوا ما هذا إلا إفك مفترى وقال الذين كفروا للحق لما جاءهم إن هذا إلا سحر مبين وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - clear| قالوا - they say,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| رجل - a man| يريد - who wishes| أن - to| يصدكم - hinder you| عما - from what| كان - used| يعبد - (to) worship| آباؤكم - your forefathers."| وقالوا - And they say,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| إفك - a lie| مفترى - invented."| وقال - And said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| للحق - about the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| سحر - a magic| مبين - obvious."| | ||||||
