| 1 [4:60] | Alam tara ila allatheenayazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wamaonzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghootiwaqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanuan yudillahum dalalan baAAeedan |  ألم تر إلى الذين يزعمون أنهم آمنوا بما أنزل إليك وما أنزل من قبلك يريدون أن يتحاكموا إلى الطاغوت وقد أمروا أن يكفروا به ويريد الشيطان أن يضلهم ضلالا بعيداأَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُواْ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُواْ إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُواْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| يزعمون - claim| أنهم - that they| آمنوا - believe| بما - in what| أنزل - (is) revealed| إليك - to you| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| من - from| قبلك - before you?| يريدون - They wish| أن - to| يتحاكموا - go for judgment| إلى - to| الطاغوت - the false deities| وقد - and surely| أمروا - they were ordered| أن - to| يكفروا - reject| به - [with] it.| ويريد - And wishes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - to| يضلهم - mislead them| ضلالا - astray -| بعيدا - far away.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:91] | Satajidoona akhareena yureedoona anya/manookum waya/manoo qawmahum kulla ma ruddoo ilaalfitnati orkisoo feeha fa-in lam yaAAtazilookum wayulqooilaykumu alssalama wayakuffoo aydiyahum fakhuthoohumwaoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waola-ikumjaAAalna lakum AAalayhim sultanan mubeenan | ستجدون آخرين يريدون أن يأمنوكم ويأمنوا قومهم كل ما ردوا إلى الفتنة أركسوا فيها فإن لم يعتزلوكم ويلقوا إليكم السلم ويكفوا أيديهم فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث ثقفتموهم وأولئكم جعلنا لكم عليهم سلطانا مبينا سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوَاْ إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُواْ فِيهَا فَإِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُواْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ستجدون - You will find| آخرين - others| يريدون - wishing| أن - that| يأمنوكم - they be secure from you| ويأمنوا - and they be secure from| قومهم - their people,| كل - Everytime| ما - that| ردوا - they are returned| إلى - to| الفتنة - the temptation,| أركسوا - they are plunged| فيها - into it.| فإن - So if| لم - not| يعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| ويلقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| ويكفوا - and they restrain| أيديهم - their hands,| فخذوهم - then seize them| واقتلوهم - and kill them| حيث - wherever| ثقفتموهم - you find them.| وأولئكم - And those -| جعلنا - We made| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سلطانا - an authority| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:37] | Yureedoona an yakhrujoo mina alnnariwama hum bikharijeena minha walahum AAathabunmuqeemun | يريدون أن يخرجوا من النار وما هم بخارجين منها ولهم عذاب مقيم يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يريدون - They will wish| أن - that| يخرجوا - they come out| من - of| النار - the Fire| وما - but not| هم - they| بخارجين - will come out| منها - of it.| ولهم - And for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مقيم - lasting.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:52] | Wala tatrudi allatheenayadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyiyureedoona wajhahu ma AAalayka min hisabihimmin shay-in wama min hisabika AAalayhim minshay-in fatatrudahum fatakoona mina alththalimeena | ولا تطرد الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ما عليك من حسابهم من شيء وما من حسابك عليهم من شيء فتطردهم فتكون من الظالمين وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تطرد - send away| الذين - those who| يدعون - call| ربهم - their Lord| بالغداة - in the morning| والعشي - and the evening| يريدون - desiring| وجهه - His Countenance.| ما - Not| عليك - (is) on you| من - of| حسابهم - their account| من - [of]| شيء - anything,| وما - and not| من - from| حسابك - your account| عليهم - on them| من - [of]| شيء - anything.| فتطردهم - So were you to send them away,| فتكون - then you would be| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:32] | Yureedoona an yutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waya/ba Allahu illa anyutimma noorahu walaw kariha alkafiroona | يريدون أن يطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم ويأبى الله إلا أن يتم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يريدون - They want| أن - to| يطفئوا - extinguish| نور - Allah's light| الله - Allah's light| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| ويأبى - but Allah refuses| الله - but Allah refuses| إلا - except| أن - to| يتم - perfect| نوره - His Light| ولو - even if| كره - the disbelievers dislike (it).| الكافرون - the disbelievers dislike (it).| | ||||||
| 6 [18:28] | Waisbir nafsaka maAAa allatheenayadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyiyureedoona wajhahu wala taAAdu AAaynaka AAanhumtureedu zeenata alhayati alddunya walatutiAA man aghfalna qalbahu AAan thikrinawaittabaAAa hawahu wakana amruhu furutan | واصبر نفسك مع الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ولا تعد عيناك عنهم تريد زينة الحياة الدنيا ولا تطع من أغفلنا قلبه عن ذكرنا واتبع هواه وكان أمره فرطا وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَلاَ تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلاَ تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ فُرُطًا | |||||
| Words | |واصبر - And be patient,| نفسك - yourself,| مع - with| الذين - those who| يدعون - call| ربهم - their Lord| بالغداة - in the morning| والعشي - and the evening| يريدون - desiring| وجهه - His Face.| ولا - And (let) not| تعد - pass beyond| عيناك - your eyes| عنهم - over them,| تريد - desiring| زينة - adornment| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ولا - and (do) not| تطع - obey| من - whom| أغفلنا - We have made heedless| قلبه - his heart| عن - of| ذكرنا - Our remembrance,| واتبع - and follows| هواه - his desires| وكان - and is| أمره - his affair| فرطا - (in) excess.| | ||||||
| 7 [28:79] | Fakharaja AAala qawmihi fee zeenatihiqala allatheena yureedoona alhayata alddunyaya layta lana mithla ma ootiya qaroonuinnahu lathoo haththin AAatheemin | فخرج على قومه في زينته قال الذين يريدون الحياة الدنيا يا ليت لنا مثل ما أوتي قارون إنه لذو حظ عظيم فَخَرَجَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |فخرج - So he went forth| على - to| قومه - his people| في - in| زينته - his adornment.| قال - Said| الذين - those who| يريدون - desire| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| يا - O| ليت - "O! Would that| لنا - for us| مثل - (the) like| ما - (of) what| أوتي - has been given| قارون - (to) Qarun.| إنه - Indeed, he| لذو - (is the) owner| حظ - (of) fortune| عظيم - great."| | ||||||
| 8 [28:83] | Tilka alddaru al-akhiratunajAAaluha lillatheena la yureedoonaAAuluwwan fee al-ardi wala fasadan waalAAaqibatulilmuttaqeena | تلك الدار الآخرة نجعلها للذين لا يريدون علوا في الأرض ولا فسادا والعاقبة للمتقين تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًا وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - That| الدار - the Home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| نجعلها - We assign it| للذين - to those who| لا - (do) not| يريدون - desire| علوا - exaltedness| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ولا - and not| فسادا - corruption.| والعاقبة - And the good end| للمتقين - (is) for the righteous.| | ||||||
| 9 [30:38] | Faati tha alqurba haqqahuwaalmiskeena waibna alssabeeli thalikakhayrun lillatheena yureedoona wajha Allahi waola-ikahumu almuflihoona | فآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ذلك خير للذين يريدون وجه الله وأولئك هم المفلحون فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فآت - So give| ذا - the relative| القربى - the relative| حقه - his right| والمسكين - and the poor| وابن - and the wayfarer.| السبيل - and the wayfarer.| ذلك - That| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| يريدون - desire| وجه - (the) Countenance| الله - (of) Allah.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 10 [33:13] | Wa-ith qalat ta-ifatunminhum ya ahla yathriba la muqama lakum fairjiAAoowayasta/thinu fareequn minhumu alnnabiyyayaqooloona inna buyootana AAawratun wama hiyabiAAawratin in yureedoona illa firaran | وإذ قالت طائفة منهم يا أهل يثرب لا مقام لكم فارجعوا ويستأذن فريق منهم النبي يقولون إن بيوتنا عورة وما هي بعورة إن يريدون إلا فرارا وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوا وَيَسْتَأْذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ إِن يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| طائفة - a party| منهم - of them,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| يثرب - (of) Yathrib!| لا - No| مقام - stand| لكم - for you,| فارجعوا - so return."| ويستأذن - And asked permission| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| النبي - (from) the Prophet,| يقولون - saying,| إن - "Indeed,| بيوتنا - our houses| عورة - (are) exposed,"| وما - and not| هي - they| بعورة - (were) exposed.| إن - Not| يريدون - they wished| إلا - but| فرارا - to flee.| | ||||||
| 11 [48:15] | Sayaqoolu almukhallafoona itha intalaqtumila maghanima lita/khuthooha tharoonanattabiAAkum yureedoona an yubaddiloo kalama Allahiqul lan tattabiAAoona kathalikum qala Allahumin qablu fasayaqooloona bal tahsudoonana bal kanoola yafqahoona illa qaleelan | سيقول المخلفون إذا انطلقتم إلى مغانم لتأخذوها ذرونا نتبعكم يريدون أن يبدلوا كلام الله قل لن تتبعونا كذلكم قال الله من قبل فسيقولون بل تحسدوننا بل كانوا لا يفقهون إلا قليلا سَيَقُولُ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا انطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَى مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُوا كَلَامَ اللَّهِ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَلِكُمْ قَالَ اللَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقول - Will say| المخلفون - those who remained behind| إذا - when| انطلقتم - you set forth| إلى - towards| مغانم - (the) spoils of war| لتأخذوها - to take it,| ذرونا - "Allow us| نتبعكم - (to) follow you."| يريدون - They wish| أن - to| يبدلوا - change| كلام - (the) Words| الله - (of) Allah.| قل - Say,| لن - "Never| تتبعونا - will you follow us.| كذلكم - Thus| قال - Allah said| الله - Allah said| من - before."| قبل - before."| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| بل - "Nay,| تحسدوننا - you envy us."| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they were| لا - not| يفقهون - understanding| إلا - except| قليلا - a little.| | ||||||
| 12 [52:42] | Am yureedoona kaydan faallatheenakafaroo humu almakeedoona | أم يريدون كيدا فالذين كفروا هم المكيدون أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| يريدون - (do) they intend| كيدا - a plot?| فالذين - But those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| هم - themselves| المكيدون - (are in) the plot.| | ||||||
| 13 [61:8] | Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroona | يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
