| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[61:8] | Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroona
|  يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ |
| Words | |يريدون - They intend| ليطفئوا - to put out| نور - (the) light| الله - (of) Allah| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| والله - but Allah| متم - will perfect| نوره - His Light| ولو - although| كره - dislike| الكافرون - the disbelievers.| |

| የአላህን ብርሃን በአፎቻቸው ሊያጠፉ ይሻሉ፡፡ አላህም ከሓዲዎቹ ቢጠሉም እንኳ ብርሃኑን ገላጭ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يريدون ليطفئوا } منصوب بأن مقدرة واللام مزيدة { نور الله } شرعه وبراهينه { بأفواههم } بأقوالهم إنه سحر وشعر وكهانة { والله متمٌّ } مظهر { نورهُ } وفي قراءة بالإضافة { ولو كره الكافرون } ذلك. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা মুখের ফুঁৎকারে আল্লাহর আলো নিভিয়ে দিতে চায়। আল্লাহ তাঁর আলোকে পূর্ণরূপে বিকশিত করবেন যদিও কাফেররা তা অপছন্দ করে। |
| Literal | They want/intend to extinguish/put out God's light with their mouths, and God (is) completing His light, and even if the disbelievers hated (it). |
