بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Waisbir nafsaka maAAa allatheenayadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyiyureedoona wajhahu wala taAAdu AAaynaka AAanhumtureedu zeenata alhayati alddunya walatutiAA man aghfalna qalbahu AAan thikrinawaittabaAAa hawahu wakana amruhu furutan واصبر نفسك مع الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ولا تعد عيناك عنهم تريد زينة الحياة الدنيا ولا تطع من أغفلنا قلبه عن ذكرنا واتبع هواه وكان أمره فرطا
وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَلاَ تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلاَ تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ فُرُطًا
 Words|واصبر - And be patient,| نفسك - yourself,| مع - with| الذين - those who| يدعون - call| ربهم - their Lord| بالغداة - in the morning| والعشي - and the evening| يريدون - desiring| وجهه - His Face.| ولا - And (let) not| تعد - pass beyond| عيناك - your eyes| عنهم - over them,| تريد - desiring| زينة - adornment| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ولا - and (do) not| تطع - obey| من - whom| أغفلنا - We have made heedless| قلبه - his heart| عن - of| ذكرنا - Our remembrance,| واتبع - and follows| هواه - his desires| وكان - and is| أمره - his affair| فرطا - (in) excess.|

ነፍስህንም፤ ከእነዚያ ጌታቸውን ፊቱን (ውዴታውን) የሚሹ ኾነው በጧትና በማታ ከሚግገዙት ጋር አስታግስ፡፡ የቅርቢቱንም ሕይወት ሽልማት የምትሻ ሆነህ ዓይኖችህ ከእነሱ (ወደ ሌላ) አይለፉ፡፡ ልቡንም እኛን ከማስታወስ ያዘነጋነውን ፍላጎቱንም የተከተለውን ነገሩም ሁሉ ወሰን ማለፍ የሆነውን ሰው አትታዘዝ፡፡
آل الجلالين{ واصبر نفسك } احبسها { مع الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون } بعبادتهم { وجهه } تعالى لا شيئا من أعراض الدنيا وهم الفقراء { ولا تعدُ } تنصرف { عيناك عنهم } عبر بهما عن صاحبهما { تريد زينة الحياة الدنيا ولا تطع من أغفلنا قلبه عن ذكرنا } أي القرآن هو عيينة بن حصن وأصحابه { واتبعَ هواه } في الشرك { وكان أمره فرطا } إسرافا .

মুহিউদ্দীন খানআপনি নিজেকে তাদের সংসর্গে আবদ্ধ রাখুন যারা সকাল ও সন্ধ্যায় তাদের পালনকর্তাকে তাঁর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের উদ্দেশ্যে আহবান করে এবং আপনি পার্থিব জীবনের সৌন্দর্য কামনা করে তাদের থেকে নিজের দৃষ্টি ফিরিয়ে নেবেন না। যার মনকে আমার স্মরণ থেকে গাফেল করে দিয়েছি, যে, নিজের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করে এবং যার কার্য কলাপ হচ্ছে সীমা অতিক্রম করা, আপনি তার অনুগত্য করবেন না।
LiteralAnd be patient your self with those who call their Lord at early mornings/between dawn and sunrise and (during) the evening/first darkness/dinnertime, they want His face/direction , and do not pass your two eyes from them, you want the life the present's/worldly life's decoration/beauty , and do not obey whom We ig nored/neglected/disregarded his heart/mind from mentioning/remembering Us , and he followed his self attraction for desire , and his matter/affair was wasteful/excessive of the limit.
Yusuf AliAnd keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; no obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds.
PickthalRestrain thyself along with those who cry unto their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance; and let not thine eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who followeth his own lust and whose case hath been abandoned.
Arberry And restrain thyself with those who call upon their Lord at morning and evening, desiring His countenance, and let not thine eyes turn away from them, desiring the adornment of the present life; and obey not him whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance so that he follows his own lust, and his affair has become all excess.
ShakirAnd withhold yourself with those who call on their Lord morning and evening desiring His goodwill, and let not your eyes pass from them, desiring the beauties of this world's life; and do not follow him whose heart We have made unmindful to Our remembrance, and he follows his low desires and his case is one in which due bounds are exceeded.
SarwarBe patient with those who worship their Lord in the mornings and evenings to seek His pleasure. Do not overlook them to seek the worldly pleasures. Do not obey those whom We have caused to neglect Us and instead follow their own desires beyond all limits.

Khalifa**You shall force yourself to be with those who worship their Lord day and night, seeking Him alone. Do not turn your eyes away from them, seeking the vanities of this world. Nor shall you obey one whose heart we rendered oblivious to our message; one who pursues his own desires, and whose priorities are confused.
Hilali/Khan**And keep yourself (O Muhammad SAW) patiently with those who call on their Lord (i.e. your companions who remember their Lord with glorification, praising in prayers, etc., and other righteous deeds, etc.) morning and afternoon, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair (deeds) has been lost.

Hold fast to the company of those who remember their Lord morning and evening seeking His Approval. (6:52), (8:52-54), (89:29:30). And let not your eyes overlook them in quest for the beauties of this world. And pay no heed to any whom Our Law has made to forget Us because he only follows his desires, and abandons all that is right.

Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور جو لوگ صبح و شام اپنے پروردگار کو پکارتے اور اس کی خوشنودی کے طالب ہیں۔ ان کے ساتھ صبر کرتے رہو۔ اور تمہاری نگاہیں ان میں (گزر کر اور طرف) نہ دوڑیں کہ تم آرائشِ زندگانی دنیا کے خواستگار ہوجاؤ۔ اور جس شخص کے دل کو ہم نے اپنی یاد سے غافل کردیا ہے اور وہ اپنی خواہش کی پیروی کرتا ہے اور اس کا کام حد سے بڑھ گیا ہے اس کا کہا نہ ماننا

Abul Ala Maududiاور اپنے دل کو اُن لوگوں کی معیت پر مطمئن کرو جو اپنے رب کی رضا کے طلب گار بن کر صبح و شام اُسے پکارتے ہیں، اور اُن سے ہرگز نگاہ نہ پھیرو کیا تم دنیا کی زینت پسند کرتے ہو؟ کسی ایسے شخص کی اطاعت نہ کرو جس کے دل کو ہم نے اپنی یاد سے غافل کر دیا ہے اور جس نے اپنی خواہش نفس کی پیروی اختیار کر لی ہے اور جس کا طریق کار افراط و تفریط پر مبنی ہے
