| 1 [2:262] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumfee sabeeli Allahi thumma la yutbiAAoona maanfaqoo mannan wala athan lahum ajruhum AAindarabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona |  الذين ينفقون أموالهم في سبيل الله ثم لا يتبعون ما أنفقوا منا ولا أذى لهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنونالَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يُتْبِعُونَ مَا أَنفَقُواْ مَنًّا وَلاَ أَذًى لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| ثم - then| لا - not| يتبعون - they follow| ما - what| أنفقوا - they spend| منا - (with) reminders of generosity| ولا - and not| أذى - hurt -| لهم - for them| أجرهم - their reward| عند - (is) with| ربهم - their Lord,| ولا - and (there will be) no| خوف - fear| عليهم - on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - will grieve.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:27] | WaAllahu yureedu an yatoobaAAalaykum wayureedu allatheena yattabiAAoona alshshahawatian tameeloo maylan AAatheeman | والله يريد أن يتوب عليكم ويريد الذين يتبعون الشهوات أن تميلوا ميلا عظيما وَاللّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَن تَمِيلُواْ مَيْلاً عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| يريد - wishes| أن - to| يتوب - accept repentance| عليكم - from you,| ويريد - but wish| الذين - those who| يتبعون - follow| الشهوات - the passions| أن - that| تميلوا - you deviate -| ميلا - (into) a deviation| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:116] | Wa-in tutiAA akthara man fee al-ardiyudillooka AAan sabeeli Allahi in yattabiAAoona illaalththanna wa-in hum illa yakhrusoona | وإن تطع أكثر من في الأرض يضلوك عن سبيل الله إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| تطع - you obey| أكثر - most| من - of| في - (those) in| الأرض - the earth| يضلوك - they will mislead you| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Not| يتبعون - they follow| إلا - except| الظن - [the] assumption,| وإن - and not| هم - they (do)| إلا - except| يخرصون - guess.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:157] | Allatheena yattabiAAoona alrrasoolaalnnabiyya al-ommiyya allathee yajidoonahumaktooban AAindahum fee alttawrati waal-injeeliya/muruhum bialmaAAroofi wayanhahum AAani almunkariwayuhillu lahumu alttayyibati wayuharrimuAAalayhimu alkhaba-itha wayadaAAu AAanhum israhumwaal-aghlala allatee kanat AAalayhim faallatheenaamanoo bihi waAAazzaroohu wanasaroohu waittabaAAooalnnoora allathee onzila maAAahu ola-ikahumu almuflihoona | الذين يتبعون الرسول النبي الأمي الذي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل يأمرهم بالمعروف وينهاهم عن المنكر ويحل لهم الطيبات ويحرم عليهم الخبائث ويضع عنهم إصرهم والأغلال التي كانت عليهم فالذين آمنوا به وعزروه ونصروه واتبعوا النور الذي أنزل معه أولئك هم المفلحون الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبِيَّ الْأُمِّيَّ الَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَآئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَالْأَغْلاَلَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يتبعون - follow| الرسول - the Messenger,| النبي - the Prophet,| الأمي - the unlettered,| الذي - whom| يجدونه - they find him| مكتوبا - written| عندهم - with them| في - in| التوراة - the Taurat| والإنجيل - and the Injeel.| يأمرهم - He commands them| بالمعروف - to the right| وينهاهم - and forbids them| عن - from| المنكر - the wrong,| ويحل - and he makes lawful| لهم - for them| الطيبات - the pure things| ويحرم - and makes unlawful| عليهم - for them| الخبائث - the impure things| ويضع - and he relieves| عنهم - from them| إصرهم - their burden| والأغلال - and the fetters| التي - which| كانت - were| عليهم - upon them.| فالذين - So those who| آمنوا - believe| به - in him| وعزروه - and honor him,| ونصروه - and help him| واتبعوا - and follow| النور - the light| الذي - which| أنزل - has been sent down| معه - with him -| أولئك - Those (are)| هم - [they]| المفلحون - the successful ones."| | ||||||
| 5 [10:66] | Ala inna lillahi man fee alssamawatiwaman fee al-ardi wama yattabiAAu allatheenayadAAoona min dooni Allahi shurakaa inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wa-inhum illa yakhrusoona | ألا إن لله من في السماوات ومن في الأرض وما يتبع الذين يدعون من دون الله شركاء إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون أَلاَ إِنَّ لِلّهِ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ شُرَكَاءَ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - No doubt!| إن - Indeed,| لله - to Allah (belongs)| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| ومن - and whoever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| وما - And not| يتبع - follow| الذين - those who| يدعون - invoke| من - other than Allah| دون - other than Allah| الله - other than Allah| شركاء - partners.| إن - Not| يتبعون - they follow| إلا - but| الظن - the assumption| وإن - and not| هم - they| إلا - but| يخرصون - guess.| | ||||||
| 6 [20:108] | Yawma-ithin yattabiAAoona alddaAAiyala AAiwaja lahu wakhashaAAati al-aswatu lilrrahmanifala tasmaAAu illa hamsan | يومئذ يتبعون الداعي لا عوج له وخشعت الأصوات للرحمن فلا تسمع إلا همسا يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُ وَخَشَعَتِ الْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا | |||||
| Words | |يومئذ - On that Day| يتبعون - they will follow| الداعي - the caller,| لا - no| عوج - deviation| له - from it.| وخشعت - And (will be) humbled| الأصوات - the voices| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious,| فلا - so not| تسمع - you will hear| إلا - except| همسا - a faint sound.| | ||||||
| 7 [28:50] | Fa-in lam yastajeeboo laka faiAAlamannama yattabiAAoona ahwaahum waman adallumimmani ittabaAAa hawahu bighayri hudan mina Allahiinna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena | فإن لم يستجيبوا لك فاعلم أنما يتبعون أهواءهم ومن أضل ممن اتبع هواه بغير هدى من الله إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين فَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَكَ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ اتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِّنَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - But if| لم - not| يستجيبوا - they respond| لك - to you,| فاعلم - then know| أنما - that only| يتبعون - they follow| أهواءهم - their desires.| ومن - And who| أضل - (is) more astray| ممن - than (one) who| اتبع - follows| هواه - his own desire| بغير - without| هدى - guidance| من - from| الله - Allah?| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 8 [53:23] | In hiya illa asmaonsammaytumooha antum waabaokum maanzala Allahu biha min sultanin inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wamatahwa al-anfusu walaqad jaahum min rabbihimu alhuda | إن هي إلا أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان إن يتبعون إلا الظن وما تهوى الأنفس ولقد جاءهم من ربهم الهدى إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى | |||||
| Words | |إن - Not| هي - they| إلا - (are) except| أسماء - names| سميتموها - you have named them,| أنتم - you| وآباؤكم - and your forefathers,| ما - not| أنزل - has Allah sent down| الله - has Allah sent down| بها - for it| من - any| سلطان - authority.| إن - Not| يتبعون - they follow| إلا - except| الظن - assumption| وما - and what| تهوى - desire| الأنفس - the(ir) souls.| ولقد - And certainly| جاءهم - has come to them| من - from| ربهم - their Lord| الهدى - the guidance.| | ||||||
| 9 [53:28] | Wama lahum bihi min AAilmin inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wa-innaalththanna la yughnee mina alhaqqishay-an | وما لهم به من علم إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن الظن لا يغني من الحق شيئا وَمَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| لهم - for them| به - about it| من - any| علم - knowledge.| إن - Not| يتبعون - they follow| إلا - but| الظن - assumption.| وإن - And indeed,| الظن - the assumption| لا - (does) not| يغني - avail| من - against| الحق - the truth| شيئا - anything.| | ||||||
