| 1 [10:24] | Innama mathalu alhayatialddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina alssama-ifaikhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi mimmaya/kulu alnnasu waal-anAAamu hattaitha akhathati al-ardu zukhrufaha waizzayyanatwathanna ahluha annahum qadiroonaAAalayha ataha amruna laylan aw naharanfajaAAalnaha haseedan kaan lam taghnabial-amsi kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yatafakkaroona |  إنما مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض مما يأكل الناس والأنعام حتى إذا أخذت الأرض زخرفها وازينت وظن أهلها أنهم قادرون عليها أتاها أمرنا ليلا أو نهارا فجعلناها حصيدا كأن لم تغن بالأمس كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يتفكرونإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىَ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| مثل - (the) example| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| كماء - (is) like (the) water| أنزلناه - which We sent down| من - from| السماء - the sky,| فاختلط - so absorbs| به - [with] it,| نبات - (the) plants| الأرض - (of) the earth| مما - from which| يأكل - eat| الناس - the men| والأنعام - and the cattle,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أخذت - takes| الأرض - the earth| زخرفها - its adornment| وازينت - and is beautified| وظن - and think| أهلها - its people| أنهم - that they| قادرون - have the power| عليها - over it,| أتاها - comes (to) it| أمرنا - Our command| ليلا - (by) night| أو - or| نهارا - (by) day,| فجعلناها - and We make it| حصيدا - a harvest clean-mown,| كأن - as if| لم - not| تغن - it had flourished| بالأمس - yesterday.| كذلك - Thus| نفصل - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 2 [23:33] | Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheenakafaroo wakaththaboo biliqa-i al-akhiratiwaatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunyama hatha illa basharun mithlukum ya/kulumimma ta/kuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona | وقال الملأ من قومه الذين كفروا وكذبوا بلقاء الآخرة وأترفناهم في الحياة الدنيا ما هذا إلا بشر مثلكم يأكل مما تأكلون منه ويشرب مما تشربون وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملأ - the chiefs| من - of| قومه - his people| الذين - who| كفروا - disbelieved| وكذبوا - and denied| بلقاء - (the) meeting| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter,| وأترفناهم - while We had given them luxury| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| بشر - a man| مثلكم - like you.| يأكل - He eats| مما - of what| تأكلون - you eat| منه - [from it],| ويشرب - and he drinks| مما - of what| تشربون - you drink.| | ||||||
| 3 [25:7] | Waqaloo mali hatha alrrasooliya/kulu alttaAAama wayamshee fee al-aswaqilawla onzila ilayhi malakun fayakoona maAAahu natheeran | وقالوا مال هذا الرسول يأكل الطعام ويمشي في الأسواق لولا أنزل إليه ملك فيكون معه نذيرا وَقَالُوا مَالِ هَذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُ نَذِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| مال - "Why does| هذا - this| الرسول - Messenger| يأكل - eat| الطعام - [the] food| ويمشي - and walk| في - in| الأسواق - the markets?| لولا - Why not| أنزل - is sent down| إليه - to him| ملك - an Angel| فيكون - then he be| معه - with him| نذيرا - a warner?| | ||||||
| 4 [25:8] | Aw yulqa ilayhi kanzun aw takoonu lahujannatun ya/kulu minha waqala alththalimoonain tattabiAAoona illa rajulan mashooran | أو يلقى إليه كنز أو تكون له جنة يأكل منها وقال الظالمون إن تتبعون إلا رجلا مسحورا أَوْ يُلْقَى إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| يلقى - is delivered| إليه - to him| كنز - a treasure| أو - or| تكون - is| له - for him| جنة - a garden,| يأكل - he may eat| منها - from it?| وقال - And say| الظالمون - the wrongdoers,| إن - "Not| تتبعون - you follow| إلا - but| رجلا - a man| مسحورا - bewitched."| | ||||||
| 5 [49:12] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooijtaniboo katheeran mina alththanni innabaAAda alththanni ithmun walatajassasoo wala yaghtab baAAdukum baAAdanayuhibbu ahadukum an ya/kula lahma akheehimaytan fakarihtumoohu waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahatawwabun raheemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اجتنبوا كثيرا من الظن إن بعض الظن إثم ولا تجسسوا ولا يغتب بعضكم بعضا أيحب أحدكم أن يأكل لحم أخيه ميتا فكرهتموه واتقوا الله إن الله تواب رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| اجتنبوا - Avoid| كثيرا - much| من - of| الظن - the assumption.| إن - Indeed,| بعض - some| الظن - assumption| إثم - (is) sin.| ولا - And (do) not| تجسسوا - spy| ولا - and (do) not| يغتب - backbite| بعضكم - some of you| بعضا - (to) others.| أيحب - Would like| أحدكم - one of you| أن - to| يأكل - eat| لحم - (the) flesh| أخيه - (of) his brother,| ميتا - dead?| فكرهتموه - Nay, you would hate it.| واتقوا - And fear Allah;| الله - And fear Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| تواب - (is) Oft-Returning,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
