| 1 [2:116] | Waqaloo itakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu bal lahu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoona |  وقالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه بل له ما في السماوات والأرض كل له قانتونوَقَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| اتخذ - "has taken| الله - Allah| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| بل - Nay,| له - for Him| ما - (is) what| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| كل - All| له - to Him| قانتون - (are) humbly obedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:68] | Qaloo ittakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu huwa alghaniyyu lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi in AAindakum min sultaninbihatha ataqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض إن عندكم من سلطان بهذا أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَـذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الغني - (is) the Self-sufficient.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| إن - Not| عندكم - you have| من - any| سلطان - authority| بهذا - for this.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?| | ||||||
| 3 [12:21] | Waqala allathee ishtarahumin misra liimraatihi akrimee mathwahu AAasaan yanfaAAana aw nattakhithahu waladan wakathalikamakkanna liyoosufa fee al-ardi walinuAAallimahu minta/weeli al-ahadeethi waAllahu ghalibunAAala amrihi walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona | وقال الذي اشتراه من مصر لامرأته أكرمي مثواه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وكذلك مكنا ليوسف في الأرض ولنعلمه من تأويل الأحاديث والله غالب على أمره ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَاللّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذي - the one who| اشتراه - bought him| من - of| مصر - Egypt| لامرأته - to his wife,| أكرمي - "Make comfortable| مثواه - his stay.| عسى - Perhaps| أن - that| ينفعنا - (he) will benefit us| أو - or| نتخذه - we will take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وكذلك - And thus| مكنا - We established| ليوسف - Yusuf| في - in| الأرض - the land| ولنعلمه - that We might teach him| من - (the) interpretation of| تأويل - (the) interpretation of| الأحاديث - the events.| والله - And Allah| غالب - (is) Predominant| على - over| أمره - His affairs,| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the people| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 4 [17:111] | Waquli alhamdu lillahi allatheelam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feealmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulliwakabbirhu takbeeran | وقل الحمد لله الذي لم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك ولم يكن له ولي من الذل وكبره تكبيرا وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحمد - "All Praise| لله - (is) for Allah| الذي - the One Who| لم - has not taken| يتخذ - has not taken| ولدا - a son| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion,| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| ولي - any protector| من - out of| الذل - weakness.| وكبره - And magnify Him| تكبيرا - (with all) magnificence."| | ||||||
| 5 [18:4] | Wayunthira allatheena qalooittakhatha Allahu waladan | وينذر الذين قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وينذر - And to warn| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| | ||||||
| 6 [19:88] | Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanuwaladan | وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| اتخذ - "Has taken| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son."| | ||||||
| 7 [19:91] | An daAAaw lilrrahmaniwaladan | أن دعوا للرحمن ولدا أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |أن - That| دعوا - they invoke| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 8 [19:92] | Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmanian yattakhitha waladan | وما ينبغي للرحمن أن يتخذ ولدا وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - is appropriate| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 9 [21:26] | Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanuwaladan subhanahu bal AAibadun mukramoona | وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا سبحانه بل عباد مكرمون وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| اتخذ - "Has taken| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glorified is He!| بل - Nay,| عباد - (they are) slaves| مكرمون - honored.| | ||||||
| 10 [25:2] | Allathee lahu mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi walam yattakhith waladan walamyakun lahu shareekun fee almulki wakhalaqa kulla shay-infaqaddarahu taqdeeran | الذي له ملك السماوات والأرض ولم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك وخلق كل شيء فقدره تقديرا الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |الذي - The One Who -| له - to Him (belongs)| ملك - (the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ولم - and not| يتخذ - He has taken| ولدا - a son,| ولم - and not| يكن - He has| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion| وخلق - and He (has) created| كل - every| شيء - thing,| فقدره - and determined it| تقديرا - (with) determination.| | ||||||
| 11 [28:9] | Waqalati imraatu firAAawna qurratuAAaynin lee walaka la taqtuloohu AAasa an yanfaAAanaaw nattakhithahu waladan wahum la yashAAuroona | وقالت امرأت فرعون قرت عين لي ولك لا تقتلوه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وهم لا يشعرون وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّي وَلَكَ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| امرأت - (the) wife| فرعون - (of) Firaun,| قرت - "A comfort| عين - (of the) eye| لي - for me| ولك - and for you;| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوه - kill him;| عسى - perhaps| أن - (that)| ينفعنا - he may benefit us,| أو - or| نتخذه - we may take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وهم - And they| لا - (did) not| يشعرون - perceive.| | ||||||
| 12 [39:4] | Law arada Allahu an yattakhithawaladan laistafa mimma yakhluqu mayashao subhanahu huwa Allahu alwahidualqahharu | لو أراد الله أن يتخذ ولدا لاصطفى مما يخلق ما يشاء سبحانه هو الله الواحد القهار لَوْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّاصْطَفَى مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| أراد - Allah (had) intended| الله - Allah (had) intended| أن - to| يتخذ - take| ولدا - a son,| لاصطفى - surely, He (could) have chosen| مما - from what| يخلق - He creates| ما - whatever| يشاء - He willed.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الله - (is) Allah| الواحد - the One,| القهار - the Irresistible.| | ||||||
| 13 [72:3] | Waannahu taAAala jaddu rabbinama ittakhatha sahibatan wala waladan | وأنه تعالى جد ربنا ما اتخذ صاحبة ولا ولدا وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنه - And that He -| تعالى - Exalted is| جد - (the) Majesty| ربنا - (of) our Lord -| ما - not| اتخذ - He has taken| صاحبة - a wife| ولا - and not| ولدا - a son,| | ||||||
