| 1 [2:28] | Kayfa takfuroona biAllahiwakuntum amwatan faahyakum thumma yumeetukumthumma yuhyeekum thumma ilayhi turjaAAoona |  كيف تكفرون بالله وكنتم أمواتا فأحياكم ثم يميتكم ثم يحييكم ثم إليه ترجعونكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتاً فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كيف - How| تكفرون - (can) you disbelieve| بالله - in Allah?| وكنتم - While you were| أمواتا - dead| فأحياكم - then He gave you life;| ثم - then| يميتكم - He will cause you to die,| ثم - then| يحييكم - He will give you life,| ثم - then| إليه - to Him| ترجعون - you will be returned.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:103] | WaiAAtasimoo bihabliAllahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkurooniAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaanfaallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihiikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratinmina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakumtahtadoona | واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم إذ كنتم أعداء فألف بين قلوبكم فأصبحتم بنعمته إخوانا وكنتم على شفا حفرة من النار فأنقذكم منها كذلك يبين الله لكم آياته لعلكم تهتدون وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعتصموا - And hold firmly| بحبل - to (the) rope| الله - (of) Allah| جميعا - all together| ولا - and (do) not| تفرقوا - be divided.| واذكروا - And remember| نعمت - (the) Favor| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - on you| إذ - when| كنتم - you were| أعداء - enemies| فألف - then He made friendship| بين - between| قلوبكم - your hearts| فأصبحتم - then you became| بنعمته - by His Favor| إخوانا - brothers.| وكنتم - And you were| على - on| شفا - (the) brink| حفرة - (of) pit| من - of| النار - the Fire| فأنقذكم - then He saved you| منها - from it.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| آياته - His Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:93] | Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiyailayya walam yooha ilayhi shay-on waman qalasaonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw taraithi alththalimoona fee ghamaratialmawti waalmala-ikatu basitooaydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna AAathabaalhooni bima kuntum taqooloona AAala Allahighayra alhaqqi wakuntum AAan ayatihitastakbiroona | ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطو أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَزلَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةُ بَاسِطُواْ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُواْ أَنفُسَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - about| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| قال - said,| أوحي - "It has been inspired| إلي - to me"| ولم - while not| يوح - it was inspired| إليه - to him| شيء - anything,| ومن - and (one) who| قال - said,| سأنزل - "I will reveal| مثل - like| ما - what| أنزل - (has been) revealed| الله - (by) Allah."| ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| في - (are) in| غمرات - agonies| الموت - (of) [the] death| والملائكة - while the Angels| باسطو - (are) stretching out| أيديهم - their hands (saying),| أخرجوا - "Discharge| أنفسكم - your souls!| اليوم - Today| تجزون - you will be recompensed| عذاب - (with) punishment,| الهون - humiliating,| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تقولون - say| على - against| الله - Allah| غير - other than| الحق - the truth| وكنتم - and you were| عن - towards| آياته - His Verses| تستكبرون - being arrogant."| | ||||||
| 4 [23:35] | AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittumwakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakummukhrajoona | أيعدكم أنكم إذا متم وكنتم ترابا وعظاما أنكم مخرجون أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أيعدكم - Does he promise you -| أنكم - that you| إذا - when| متم - you are dead| وكنتم - and you become| ترابا - dust| وعظاما - and bones| أنكم - that you| مخرجون - (will be) brought forth?| | ||||||
| 5 [23:110] | Faittakhathtumoohumsikhriyyan hatta ansawkum thikree wakuntumminhum tadhakoona | فاتخذتموهم سخريا حتى أنسوكم ذكري وكنتم منهم تضحكون فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّى أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فاتخذتموهم - But you took them| سخريا - (in) mockery| حتى - until| أنسوكم - they made you forget| ذكري - My remembrance,| وكنتم - and you used (to)| منهم - at them| تضحكون - laugh.| | ||||||
| 6 [45:31] | Waamma allatheena kafarooafalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartumwakuntum qawman mujrimeena | وأما الذين كفروا أفلم تكن آياتي تتلى عليكم فاستكبرتم وكنتم قوما مجرمين وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأما - But as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| أفلم - "Then were not| تكن - "Then were not| آياتي - My Verses| تتلى - recited| عليكم - to you| فاستكبرتم - but you were proud| وكنتم - and you became| قوما - a people| مجرمين - criminals?"| | ||||||
| 7 [48:12] | Bal thanantum an lan yanqalibaalrrasoolu waalmu/minoona ila ahleehimabadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantumthanna alssaw-i wakuntum qawman booran | بل ظننتم أن لن ينقلب الرسول والمؤمنون إلى أهليهم أبدا وزين ذلك في قلوبكم وظننتم ظن السوء وكنتم قوما بورا بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| ظننتم - you thought| أن - that| لن - (would) never| ينقلب - return| الرسول - the Messenger| والمؤمنون - and the believers| إلى - to| أهليهم - their families| أبدا - ever,| وزين - that was made fair-seeming| ذلك - that was made fair-seeming| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وظننتم - And you assumed| ظن - an assumption| السوء - evil,| وكنتم - and you became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 8 [56:7] | Wakuntum azwajan thalathatan | وكنتم أزواجا ثلاثة وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ثَلَاثَةً | |||||
